1. a random story about yourself one fine day i was going down the stairs at my uni and i heard some girl shouted "what do you mean you don't know what fanfiction is?" to another and i stumbled and fell down (thank god there was only a couple of steps left) and that girl ran over to me to help and i asked her what fanfic she was talking about and what fandoms she's in and that's how we became friends

Random-Ravings Shared Some Linkin Park Quotes on her Blog, and Now I Have a Story to Tell.

My husband is a big LP fan. He's also a dude who doesn't really talk about his feelings much. Meanwhile, I've struggled all my life with anxiety and feeling like I'm "wasting my life." I've had all these grand ambitions: I wanna go to a big university; I wanna work for an HIV policy organization; I wanna move back to San Francisco; I wanna work at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum; I wanna move to London; I wanna get the fuck out of this god-forsaken town; and on and on. For so long I've lived in this permanent state of depression and worthlessness because I feel like I'm just...failing to make a real difference in the world, and instead I'm just sitting here watching my life slip by me. When "Living Things" came out, Chris bought it, of course, and kept it in his car; and the first time I was in his car after that, eventually we got to hear "Roads Untraveled". When it started, he said, "I really like this song," and he turned it up so I could listen to the lyrics, and he sang along with it. These are the lyrics: "Weep not for roads untraveled Weep not for paths left alone Cause beyond every bend is a long blinding end It's the worst kind of pain I've known Give up your heart left broken. When it was over, I sat in the car trying not to cry, because I realized he was trying to tell me that, whether I end up doing anything "big and important" with my life or if we spend the rest of it in this hole of a town, Chris will just quietly be there, next to me and for me. It's one of the most amazing things anyone's ever done for me, and it made me realize how much he really loves me.

fanfiction.net, i’ve found its harder to find things on LJ. You have better chances at a bigger reading base on ff I’d say. =)

Thank you:) Yeah, that's my problem. A friend of mine recommended LJ, but I've also had some problems finding things there.
