The world now - filled with individuals or people with the same minds
Have you ever thought how every day people are becoming more and more similar? You must have heard the line "You will become like the people you spend time with". And not just that, even people across the globe and even different cultures are becoming more alike every day. Some even say that if you want to experience something really out there, you should do it now, as even the most remote locations are becoming more accessible. And with this new infrastructure they will loose their own individual flavor. Going somewhere far away to see, feel and taste the difference and seeing a McDonalds waiting for you across the street - what a buzzkill!
Will this mean the loss of all individuality? Will we all be machines without any individual thoughts at the end of all this?
I don't think so. Of course it is sad to think how old cultures, habits, ways to say I love you will disappear (one language evert two weeks according to the National Geograph). But as we get to know eachother better through unified environment, we will finally learn and truly understand, and thus create an atmoshphere that is more accepting of differences. It's not the differences that create hate, but not knowing the stories behind.
So, maybe in the end this unification will only create more diversification as we can finally show our real inner individuality. Or what say you?
