Hi, thank you for your work! I'm desperately looking for a fic in which Steve is capture by Hydra (possibly in a castle?) who decide that since they can't seem to kill him, they will freeze him again and they set the timer for 200+ years (I think). So, Steve goes under thinking he will lose Tony and everything again then he stumbles out of a machine and he is panicking but turns out, it's only been a week... I hope this helps? Thank you in advance!

Hi! Can I ask 1, 3 and 5 for the ask ? I hope you're doing okay! :)

1. When did you start reading fic? (how old you were or how long ago)

I was about 14. I remember the evening vividly and I will NEVER know how I got where I was. I have never found the website again, but I was suddenly reading Torchwood fanfic. I didn’t really know what it was, but I loved it. 

Believe me, I’ve searched for the website many many many times but I cannot find it. Maybe it was all a figment of my imagination.

3. Do you read WIP (works in progress)? Why or why not?

I don’t, because I know I will click off it and forget to ever check it for another chapter and then I’ll remember about it 7 months later and won’t be able to find it again.

Also what if someone doesn’t finish????  I’ve been catfished by fics marked as complete enough times so I have learnt my lesson. 

I do reap WIPs for small fandoms because there aren’t so many works so I can always find them again easily and I have limited options of completed fics

5. How much time do you spend reading fic per week?

Too much. Like 5 hours a day. Sometimes more.

Okay so this made me cry. Thank you so much 💘❤️

(Tmi, but I actually had something of a breakdown on Monday night sitting in a Costa carpark after I’d gone to the cafe to try and fill some prompts. I got nothing done for nearly 2 hours and ended up sobbing into my steering wheel about how I haven’t written anything of substance for months and that I feel like a failure and a liar because of it and people are unfollowing me. So to hear this might just kick my ass back into gear - or at the very least, stop the next round of tears when I stare at a white screen because maybe it’s okay to recharge)
