Stand for something, or you'll fall for anything.
Of course the Rand Paul people start chanting when pot is mentioned.
#randrally live right now and is #trending on #Facebook and #Twitter. Who needs the stuffy #gopdebate with tired old rhetoric when you've got fresh ideas and @drrandpaul to listen to? #standwithrand #standwithrand2016 #randpaul2016 #randpaul. Hey, @foxbusiness black this out! #foxbusiness #foxbusinessdebate
The Kentucky senator takes a shot at his GOP rival and jumps on the "birther" bandwagon
Rand Paul doesn't know whether Ted Cruz meets the citizenship requirements for the presidency, but he offered another suggestion for the Texas senator.
"I think without question he is qualified and would make the cut to be prime minister of Canada. Absolutely, without question," Paul deadpanned Wednesday about his Canadian-born rival during a Fox News Radio interview.
"I'm not an expert on the natural-born clause in the Constitution and people have various opinions," he added. "And we've had some previous cases of it, but I don't think we've ever gone through the court system for the Supreme Court to decide one way or another."
Funny how Rand Paul calls himself an expert on the Constitution, but suddenly doesn’t know if Cruz is eligible. With Cruz out of the picture, maybe Paul would go up a percentage or two, but regardless he would remain behind many other more popular candidates. His sudden ignorance on the Constitution is not even a clever tactic.
I suppose he knows its over for him and is trying whatever he can in a last ditch effort to get attention, but Paul won’t get any attention. He will soon be forgotten since he boycotted the lower tier debate after failing to qualify for the main stage. He, like his father, is not electable at the national stage.
