Satori is totally adorable, although I’m easily frustrated by people who are willing to defend people they know even when they know they are wrong. But I definitely wouldn’t mind if Lin ends up being his daughter, he is very earnest and awesome :D

Well, there's still a third part coming, so we'll just have to see how that turns out.  I do understand where his loyalty comes from though - even aside from his personal experiences with his uncle, the concept of filial piety is addressed and played with all over the Avatar universe.  I've always thought that was one of the best things about Avatar.  Aside from just Asian aesthetics, they weave the philosophies and cultural norms into the narrative.

Actually, I'd peg him for a possibility as Suyin's father - he has more of a similar appearance to Suyin than Lin.  Although to be honest, I'd kind of prefer they never tell us who their fathers are - I love Toph as a single mother.
