"Rhythm of the Night" is a song by American pop/R&B group DeBarge, from their fourth studio album, also named Rhythm of the Night (1985). It was written by Diane Warren and was the biggest hit recorded by the Motown family singing group, peaking at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

We have noticed Mr. Giorgio Moroder can be located on the credits of many musicians' platters, though there are some he could work with more than he did. An example of this might be DeBarge, one of the prominent R&B outfits of the 80's. He only did one tune with them, you can hear the piece on the link, but the composition was on their biggest seller, Rhythm Of The Night. Truth to be told, Mr. Moroder didn't seem to connect with DeBarge that much, though you do have a hunch they could do great things together, had they called him back. Then again, they may have wanted to reach him, but they sadly flamed out quickly after their greatest success, delegating a possible Moroder-DeBarge combo to a what-could-have-been.

Bunny DeBarge currently resides in Detroit, Michigan, US. In the past, she suggested that her former sister-in-law Janet Jackson had a child with her brother James DeBarge. Now it seems like everything is fine between the two.
