Gary Dillard on steel guitar
Gary Dillard, A.K.A. Beaver, has finally conquered cancer and entered heaven. Dillard was a former member of the Kingsmen and a musician extraordaire. He was known for his exceptional ability with the steel guitar, banjo, and most stringed instruments. A sweet gentleman, he was much beloved by Kingsmen fans everywhere.

Update On Randy Perry Update on Randy’s 2nd open heart surgery on June 26 2018: As many of you may know for the last 6 months I have been having severe heart issues.

Please Pray For Randy Perry Update on Randy: The surgery was not successful after 5 hours of trying. Blood pressure dropped so they had to stop. Surgeon is going to look at film of heart and bring in different types of equipment for another attempt in 2 months. Surgeon does not want him to do anything for those 2 months. Randy picks up the pace on the Buffy rewatch and confirms my belief that season 5 is probably the best (also, who the hell doesn't like Glory as a character?)
New episode up! We talk cocktails, "Later, At The Bar", "Blue Gardenia" and other things involving libations.
Randy Perry runs through a slow couple of episodes, but the second pair in this set of four are freaking gold and a showcase for Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Duskhu.
Another thing I love about "Who Are You" is that it's not a typical lessons-learning body-swap scenario. Often in body-swap stories, the characters learn what it's like for the person they swap into; here, Buffy and Faith learn more about what it's like to be themselves. Especially Faith - as she fights Buffy in the episode's climax, and beats up her own body, it's pure self-loathing: "You're nothing! Disgusting, murderous bitch!" is obviously more about herself than it is about Buffy. (And throughout the episode, as Faith sees how everyone (Willow, Riley, the random girl she saves) reacts to Buffy, what she sees is how they wouldn't react that way to her.) It's both rock-bottom and an epiphany - and though Faith's arc will continue on ANGEL, we won't see her again here until the last few episodes of the series.
