Hi :) I'm thinking of breaking up with my girlfriend and it's stressing me out so much. I also a girl so when I started to think I had feelings for her(she had liked me for a long time) she got angry with me and told me to pick one or the other and I was so confused about how I felt. We've been dating for a long time now and it has it's good and bad times. She's going through some bad stuff right now-Randythrandy (please tag as randythrandy, weird I know) part 1

And when she gets down she gets takes it out on me, never violence but yelling and refusing to even tell me that she's safe. It always makes me feel like shit. She always apologises and we make up but I don't know if I can take it any more. I always get bad anxiety worrying about her and she refuses to understand me when I'm depressed, she makes me feel guilty about taking time for myself and not being with her, saying I'm hurting her. I'm scared if we break up, -Randythrandy part 2

She's not close with anyone else and I'm scared she'll hurt herself. I'm scared she'll completely leave me and not even stay friends, I'm scared of what she'll do to herself. I can't stay with her but I'm so scared to leave her. Also just saying thanks cause you guys always do such amazing work and I hope you all have a great day/night-Randythrandy part 3

Firstly thank you for your sweet comment we all appreciate it so much. 

I am sorry that you are having problems in your relationship and hope I can help you. I don't think it's fair that she is taking her problems out on you, I understand she may find it difficult to express how she is feeling in the right way or manage her feelings but it isn't fair on you too be yelled at. It is okay apologising for things that she has done and to move on from them but if she carries on doing the things she is sorry for then she isn't learning from what has happened and her sorry means nothing. It is not fair on you to forgive her and then for her to do the same thing again and again. If you have spoken to her about it and expressed your concerns and nothing is changing then I think breaking up may be the best option, if she isn't willing to change then you won't get anywhere and you'll be in the same position for the whole of your relationship and that isn't fair on you. Your mental health is important too and if she is making your anxiety high and your depression worse then the relationship isn't good for you. Every relationship has it's good and bad times but if yours is making you more unhappy than happy then it may be time to move on from it. You have absolutely every right to take time out for yourself to work on your mental health. You need your own space to do your own things and in any relationship that is normal. She can't expect you to be with her or talk to her all the time and she shouldn't expect that of you. I know you will still care for her even if you do break up and wouldn't want anything to happen to her but you need to do what makes you happy right now and not what makes her happy. Your happiness is just as important. Can you talk to her family about it or a teacher at her school. Just explain that you have broken up and you didn't mean to hurt her by doing so but it wasn't working out and you just wanted them to keep an eye on her to make sure she is okay and not going to do anything that harms herself. Maybe if you inform someone it'll make you feel a little better about it all. I can't say whether she will want to stay friends with you as that decision is totally up to her. But the best thing to do would be to leave it for a while until she has gotten over you and she is feeling okay then you can maybe consider being friends. You just said it yourself you can't be with her, so please for your sake end the relationship it's not worth you feeling the way you do. You can't sacrifice your happiness for hers. I am sure she has people around her that wouldn't want anything to happen to her.

Another Thrandy limerick

Today, another chapter of Enslaved comes out by the lovely lemonconfessions.  I don't know if it's a CumberSmaug or a Thrandy chapter, but in honor of her efforts and my crush on Thranduil (particularly her characterization of him), I give you another Thrandy limerick.  I'm actually getting good at this.  What a weird skill to develop.  I'm not even *close* to being Irish.   So this one is totally an homage to Enslaved, and not so much to Thranduil.  Consider it FanArt:

My elf, he loved his Dorwinion, And gave two shits for others' opinions. Such a stance wasn't wise, But he so loved my thighs, Who again was the King, and the minion?

Valentines Day special.... Suggestions?

So I want to write a special Thrandy or Cumber/Smaug fic that will be posted on Valentines Day and I want to hear from you on what you'd like to see ;) It can be [most likely will be] outside the Enslaved by a King/Dragon storyline. So... Ideas? Suggestions?
