#Newburyport Front Range Light, located on the grounds of the Coast Guard base- the shorter of two range lights can be seen from the fence at the rear of the grounds. If you turn around you’ll see the talker range light- now a restaurant just behind. . . #Rangelights, also known as leading lights, are typically a pair of lights displayed at different heights and located far enough apart to enable mariners to line one above the other to indicate the center of a channel.
