I got far too excited over the power of electric scooters you can rent and scooted all over Atlanta and gave myself a sunburn, but I also got pesto and walnuts and wine and a lime and seltzer from Trader Joe’s, which I haven’t managed to go to without bribing neighbor cop since I got here, because walking home two miles with groceries is intimidating, but zipping along like you live in some weird cyberpunk future with your groceries perilously hung off the handle bars is fun.

I was waiting for Neighbor Steve to finish cop things so he could take me to the grocery store and I could buy wine. (In a weird 1700s turn I can walk to a gin distillery, but can’t find wine without a car or a bus) and of course I fell asleep in a chair and dreamed that I was back at work, I woke up because the dream visitor asked when we closed and I said oh at five, realized it was past five and I didn’t have to do work anymore and promptly woke up.
