Ronnie had left Clan HQ after grabbing a bite to eat (literally), and was feeling... not necessarily glum, but a little disappointed that she'd be heading back to an empty apartment again. Bri was still with Ben, which was fine, since he was missing a leg and probably needed to be babied. But Ronnie was really tired of being alone every night. She could invite Elif over, but that felt like too much. So she'd just binge shitty movies or go out to drink or just sleep. Whatever, it was fine.
She hadn't meant to bump into someone while she was walking, muttering a "Shit, sorry," before she looked up, and then kept looking up as she recognized the taller girl. "Rangi," she said. They hadn't really talked much since hooking up that time, and Ronnie knew that Rangi had... killed the Catalyst, but it wasn't like they were friends or anything like that. She didn't really know what she could say in those circumstances. "So she just settled on, "Uh, hey. How's it going?"
