Hell Butterfly: (the most lewd message ever from Mayuri) - Yumichika: classic that.. the captain?"
one of those ideas I had
anyway I have some bangers to post later
Did... did they cut this from the anime?
sexiest water i will ever paint in my life (a zine piece for a friend)
gin and rangiku drive me to madness… (BLEACH SPOILERS… i’m serious!) they knew each other when they were children in poverty in rukongai and aizen violated her soul and stole an essence of it, which was so severe she lost her memories. gin had witnessed this and her first memory after waking up is gin offering her persimmons. it’s really tragic from the start, he’s a prodigy and goes on to join the soul society and she sees all of his actions as him leaving her behind even when she becomes strong too. but everything he is doing over these lifetimes is to ‘get back’ what was taken from her even if he becomes a villain working with the man he detests. from the beginning he says, “i’ve decided. i’m going to become a shinigami and change things. so that things will end without rangiku crying”. this is not excusing his actions, but even as a character he knew he was going to become evil from start. even his zanpakto is a reflection of his soul. he sees himself as a snake.
it also must have been extra painful when her new captain was another young white haired prodigy and seeing momo become aizen’s lieutenant… momo and toshiro are younger mirrors of rangiku and gin with less traumatic history and aizen plays with them all… (i could go on abt this but i won’t)
even at the end when he is dying, he doesn’t try to make himself seem like he’s actually good, he knows that he is bad and kubo’s writing doesn’t excuse gin either. instead it is this bittersweet loss and it leaves us feeling terrible because there is no exposition describing greater motives. it is bittersweet because they were never together except for the time before as children and teens. it is bittersweet because there are so many what ifs - what if he had told rangiku, what if they could try and heal together, what if they could be happy together. when he dies, he is by himself and it’s rangiku who runs to him during battle, the only one who would ever mourn him and she still doesn’t get an explanation or any words. it’s all quite tragic really.
Chapter 24 is Live
“You’re so good at talking your way out of anything, Gin.” She said softly, pulling her hand from his.
“It’s kind of funny that you’ve managed to end us with no words at all.”

Today, on the whatever number edition of “Florchis cries over Ginran because of songs”, I bring to you the entirety of Pablo Alboran’s “Saturno”,
I had so many happy moments that I forget how sad it was to give you my sould when you messed it up. I didn’t want to love you, you taught me to hate you. Every kiss I imagined go back to where they grew. On Saturn live the children we never had. On Pluto you can still love screams. On the moon, scream alone your voice and my voice asking for forgiveness, something we couldn’t do worse.
Just... leave me alone.
