Winter sucks. It always took Ranmaru hours to find the courage to brave the freezing house with a heater that only worked half of the time. Some days, he’d be so hungry he could feel his stomach panging, but he hated dealing with cramps because he wasn't warm enough. Bzzt bzzt. He groans. Who on Earth is texting him? (On a cold morning, Ranmaru wakes up to his phone incessantly going off—and his two partners waiting for him to open the door.)

Sara and Joe love teasing Ranmaru about him not being a mummy for halloween and Ranmaru lowkey gets heated abt it

They all go as Batman villains- Ranmaru is Scarecrow, Joe is Poison Ivy, and Sara is Joker.

Because Joe refused to let either of them look better than him, he even had Reko do his makeup like a drama queen

Ranmaru absolutely fucking LOVES Caramel. any candy with caramel in it is immediately his favorite- but he usually sticks with chocolate candy in general

Ranmaru does not decorate for halloween and Joe doesn't like that, so one day Joe just,,, decorated his house for him

Ranmaru woke up to his boyfriend being scolded by his girlfriend for decorating a house that wasn't his and was super fuckin confused until he looked at his yard

it was COVERED with animatronics and spider webs, strobe lights and shit- everything Joe had extra on hand. It might as well be a haunted house at this point.

They all cuddle and watch movies after Halloween- it's super nice and Sara gets to hide her face in Ranmaru's shoulder!! Because Joe laughs at her whenever she gets scared

Joe gets super butthurt over her not going to him for comfort tho 👀

Ranmaru, unlike Joe and Sara, love comedic scary movies, like the Scary Movie series and the Boo!Madea movies because he's elite.

Dinner on halloween is the same every time. Grilled Cheese with Candy Apples.

Ranmaru tries to get them to make literally ANYTHING ELSE, and Sara gets sad because it's tradition to have those things on the holiday
