So, I've been learning coding to make my commander ranking tool a little more optimizaded, and hopefully automatic.

For those who don't know, I was working on a tool in excel in which you imported your decklist, filled in a lot of cells with information, and the tool gave you a score for your deck based on the cards. My plan is to do all of that now in python, hopefully automatically by just importing the decklist. I gotta see how it goes.

Just wanted to keep you guys updated, especially because several of you were excited about it and even helped me with the alpha of the tool.

Here's a picture of how it's looking. I'm just at the beginning of this new version, but it's pretty exciting. When I finish it i:ll share it here for sure :)

Well, as some of you might know, I'm designing a ranking tool for commander, whose idea is to give a 100% objective ranking based on the cards in the deck.

I'm currently working on it again, and even trying new things and new software options, but I'm not a programmer, so I think i'll stick to excel for now (was trying android studio and unity, but that's too complex hahaha I might try android stufio again but who knows). Anyway, in the worst case scenario the user would need to input more things manually, but i'll try to automate the most I can given my possibilities.

That said, I am re-doing the tool from scratch, even changing its name again. So, now I need your help or your opinion:

As every deck is different, and every strategy works different even between decks with the same commander, I need to come up with points that every single deck should/could have. So far I have the following:

Mana/Fix

Ramp

Protection

Recursion

Disruption

Acceleration (Draw and costs reduction)

Control

Combos

Tutors

Aggro

Burn/Damage

Resilence

Am I missing something there?

What else should I add?

What do you think the tool should also analize that is not exactly related to those categories?

Any suggestion, tip, and help would be greatly appreciated :)

I'll leave you with a formula used to tell you about the special mana in your deck (which is absolutely unnecessary, but very user-friendly)
