Wildfires and bug repellent like raid i think is also real bad for native bees, anyway i had a mini info dump about bees in a post's tags and wanted to do so even more because i love the little dudes. For context it's a video of an adorable little fountain made for bees to collect water from. If you want to help pollinators, plant native flowers and stuff. There is so many cool bees and i want to show so pictures of them to people, maybe ill start doing that hmmmm

I am so terrified of bees it isn't even funny. Over the past month FGCU has had a huge increase in the bee population and i am NOT amused. It is like SWARMS of bees at a time. I can't even take out the trash right now because of bees. I finally got around to getting rid of the almost finished food items i had to clean space out because most of it was stale anyways. But when i go to the dumpster, i can't even throw shit away because there were 20 bees swarming around the dumpster. Particularly around the hatch to open it and the key pad to put in the password. After like five minutes of trying to get the bees to go away i finally gave up and brought the trash back to my place to try again later. I am beyond unamused right now. Screw bees. I hate them.
