Why today sucks so far.

So.. The day started off terribly almost like it was fucking destiny. I was sleeping like a BABY because exams are going on and my last one is tomorrow. today is a holiday because Ramzan (Eid Mubarak lovelies <3 Hope you have a great one!!) And i slept in. The exam was supposed to be today (Bio.) But it’s been postponed to tomorrow. I wake up to FIVE missed calls from a neighbor, the bells (of both doors) ringing at the same time and the landline ringing. At this point I’ve woken up all fucking angry crabby moody and like in full on bitch mode regardless of the partially true fact that I am a morning person. I exit my room, return the calls, and get the door nearly simultaneously and who do I see outside? Mother dear :) She walks in all like Hi. I’m hella stressed and pissed already so I ask her- Why. didnt. you. take. the. keys. and why is everyone calling me like someone died. To which she sarcastically responded- “because i have been waiting for an hour and a half.” 

ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!? IT WAS HILARIOUSLY INFURIATING BECAUSE SHE SAID THIS AS IF IT WERE MY FAULT. 

So by now im just so fucking dumbfounded by this shit. All sorts of thoughts racing in my head like 

“You knew i was fucking asleep, why the fuck didnt you take the keys?” 

“oKAY- so you exited the house for a second- and It’s your SLEEPING daughters fault that the wind closed the door? WHY U NO TAKE KEYS.”

Etc Etc. It was like 10 am. And she reacted like I was born to open doors for her as soon as I wake uP. ALL im saying is that at least if you had woken me up and TOLD me you was going out for a sec- I wouldve watched the door for you casue you my mom and ily but NUH UH. and- y’all may be like seriously this aint no big deal and I agree. BUT THEN. after this becomes old news. within an hour we argue again. Which I will make an entire new post for cause that one is close to my heart and a lot more serious.

The Librarian

Okay, so the new librarian intern student is really getting on my nerves. I was just minding my own business, taking a little break off from studying for that suicidal English exam tomorrow, by skimming through my Facebook feed. -.- She just happens to walk by and tells me to take off my hat. 

You know what bugs me?

Is when people start acting like they can do anything to you. 

I am not in the mood to be pushed around by students who think they are higher than me. So I asked her why? and and she replied:

“Because we’re inside.” .......................

I know we’re inside, I know it’s rude in Maori culture to have hats when you’re at the dinner table. But I have never. EVER. IN MY WHOLE GODDAMN LI-FEE. Been told off from wearing my hat inside. So heads up to the librarian student who also told me:

“You know this is a study zone, right?”

No bish. This is the annoy a senior zone. -.- Do me a favour?

All I know is that I'm tired of this misconception that you have to be a "religious elite" to be able to know and be close to God. That is the whole reason by Jesus came down. He wanted to bridge the gap for EVERYONE. Why do you think God chose Mary to bear Jesus? Why do you think the first people to know about Jesus' birth were shepherds? Jesus' birth, life, death and resurrection was for ALL. This is why the angel said, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people." Luke 2:10. So, that being said, we as followers of Jesus need to get off our high horse and go love people who need it the most this Christmas season.

#RantSession: Stop depending on these Weak/False Shepherd systems. It's a lot of ppl that are pissed bout this cases verdict, but a "week" from now you won't even be thinking bout it. You #bandwagoners make me sick. You think just because you blacked out your IG profile pic, they were gonna find Zimmerman guilty? If you want to change anything what are you gonna do to help from this point on? You, yourself?? Not the famous people that you worship more than your own husband/wife/kids. Don't count on them. See where that gets you. So if your not gonna do anything don't be surprised by what the world continues to do. Just lay back down and pull the wool back over your eyes and forget about everything the way I know you will. And I'm not mad at the case. Pet Peeve 1 of a million

So I thought since there is a fantastic community of intellectual Armenians on Tumblr, I could throw what I'm thinking right now on here without much fear of being misunderstood. I'm so ready to unfollow all these little Armenian pages on Facebook. Sometimes they put up really cool pictures and anecdotes which is totally cool. I'm a history nerd. I live for these things.

BUT SOMETIMES. I mean, ALL THE TIME, my eyes accidentally read some of the comments that Armenians write on political posts... and they make me just want to die. Here are the common ones:

1) Turks are disgusting, evil bastards that will burn in hell for what they did to us. (The article is about the origin of dolma)

2) Armenia used to be from sea to sea, but because of the Turks, who are disgusting evil bastards that will burn in hell, we have a tinyyyyy little country. (The article is about the location of a scenic church)

3) The protests and violence in Turkey right now is just karma because the Turks are disgusting evil bastards that will burn in hell for what they did to us. (Maybe this event signifies that technology and education is changing the ideas of the people. Maybe the multiethnic communities will come together to improve their country and evolve.)

But no. Technology is not the machine that educates, communicates and connects. Sometimes its the mechanism where ignorant morons come together to project their idiocy to the world.
