Meet my Titan oc, Fossil!

They are a pirate and I love them.

He’s just kind of bare bones right now, though. I’m not great with making ocs but I’ll sure try.

Some more long boi! Just trying to get consistent with the design, which is something I struggle with.

Fossil the Titan oc, beloved. Why did I name them Fossil? Idk, just the first word that came into my head on the first run of the design. Glad I chose brown for the fur. ^^

More Fossil. Wanted to do a piece where I could include some more info, including slightly updated pronoun preferences and romantic/sexual orientations. (I will make all my ocs some form of aspec and no one can stop me! -blasts them with ace- and arofication beams-)

I got it in my head that as Fossil grows, they gain an extra pair of arms just because and also to compensate for their body length. Perhaps so instead of wings. If wings grow in on Titans as they age, I see no reason why an extra set of arms is out of the question (especially considering wings ARE arms). It’s the Boiling Isles, shit’s weird.

I love giving this blorbo some bizarre ass anatomy that’s probably not overtly common to Titans.

If this idea really sticks to my brain I might start drawing them this way. I would, of course, still draw them in their sick pirate duds, just with some modifications for the extra arms. I really want them to embody the title “The Long Titan” lmao.

New ref for my Titan oc, Fossil! I love my long blorbo. A few extra facts:

They are Agender, Greyromantic, Pan, and Asexual.

They/Them is largely preferred, but they are alright with other pronouns.

They are NOT a good swimmer. Being submerged in water makes them panic, this stems from an incident as a hatchling. They have much respect and love for the ocean, but they do NOT like being IN it.

Fossil LOVES sailing on the ocean, it’s their favorite place to be. They love sea life as well as searching for history and treasures. They are also more than happy to act as a ferry for people, as they just love sharing their love of sailing with others.

Fossil likes ice magic because they can use it to make platforms across the water if they must; water magic could come in handy for making an air bubble if they panic in the water, however they would have to calm themselves enough to do so. Beast magic is due to their love of sea life.

Fossil’s torso started to become the longest part of their body around the human equivalent of 12-13. The extra arms grew in in their young adulthood, which they are currently in when I draw them. Fossil will never grow wings, they got extra arms instead.

They lost their leg likely attempting to aid a sea creature. This isn’t fully hashed out yet but it’s something to that effect.

Wanted to show how big Fossil is to the average adult witch.

I also wanted to get a more accurate depiction of how long Fossil’s torso is. They have a very long torso for a Titan. In fact, it seems almost like they grow longer in the torso instead of actually taller/larger all around(which might have truth to it). Many joke about this, including Fossil themself. They will, however, take full offense if someone asks them if they are part Ratworm or some other horrible worm creature. The nerve!

They are quite flexible and as of right now don’t seem to suffer any adverse effects such as chronic back pain.

There’s not much lore for Titans in TOH, nor a whole lot of people (that I can find), that do Titan ocs. So there’s just a couple of things my brain is thinking or pondering about Titans in regards to Fossil(my Titan oc):

-In my brain, for Fossil, I’m working with the idea that Titans take absolute hundreds and hundreds of years to reach the size of the Boiling Isles. I know we see varying sizes of skulls in the Titan Hunter trophy room. But even outside of that, I am intrigued by the idea that they take a long time to reach truly massive sizes.

-Since Fossil is a pirate, it got me wondering vaguely if for any reason the Titan species might be immune to boiling water. There’s no evidence either way, just pondering for character building reasons.

I would love to see more Titan lore and characters the way I’ve seen for Collectors, it’s so cool!
