1, How old are you and how long have you been Singing/rapping? KPJ) I'm in my 20's Been singing since I was 3yrs old
2, Did Growing up in Los Angeles influence the music you make? KPJ) I grew up on the East Coast in Washington D.C. and New York. Relocated to Los Angeles after college.
3, Where did your name King Pharaoh jackson come from? KPJ) Jackson is my family Last name on my mother's side. My birth name is Silas in Hebrew and Osiris in Greek. Osiris was one of the earliest Pharaoh's in Egyptian history. Thats why I was nicknamed Pharaoh. The Game added King when I joined Blood Money.
4, Are You currently recording/working on anything? KPJ) I'm working on my Double EP (10 songs) entitled "King Pharaoh's Prelude". It will be released this summer.
5, What was it like getting signed to The Game’s BloodMoney Record Label? KPJ) It was a good learning experience getting signed to Game's label. To have the Game support my music was great.
6, You joined The Game on his BloodMoon year of the wolf tour, what was the experience like for you? KPJ) Touring with Game was awesome. It was first time traveling to Europe. I was able see how much the fans overseas appreciate and support our music. Looking forward to touring again.
7, Were you aware that your song ‘Take That’ feat Tyga was going to be such a massive hit, That would have people going crazy for ? KPJ) I had no idea how the fans would respond to the song. It just felt good when I came up with the idea and laid the hook. Everyone that came through the studio was feeling the song so I knew it would make impact.
8, Who are three current artists that you would love to hit the studio with? KPJ) Jay Z, Beyonce, Meek Mill
9, Growing up who your music icons? KPJ) R Kelly ,Tupac, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Michael Jackson, Kirk Franklin and so many more music greats (too many to name)
10, Where would you like to be in the next few years? KPJ) Three years from now I want to have 3 number one albums and multiple hit songs on the charts. My voice is a gift from God, I want to share my gift with the world.
