2012!Sick! Raph X Reader
You warned him. Master Splinter warned him. Hell, even Leo warned him. But did Raph listen? No. And now he’s sick.
You had all warned Raph not to over work himself working out and going on patrols when it’s so cold and rainy out. After all, the incoming fall weather was getting more and more apparent and colder each passing day. But, the warnings fell of deaf ears. Raph didn't listen. And now he’s sick, with a slightly high fever.
You, of course, decided to help the boys out with taking care of you’re adorable boyfriend. It was a rare chance to see the big, tough guy act not so tough. But, you had no idea that he would be like this.
You had just walked into the lair, heading towards Raph’s room when you saw Donnie walking out of it. Donnie, upon seeing you, sighed in relief. Before you could question the genius, he wished you a ‘good luck’ and rushed away into his lab. You shrugged it off and continued into Raph’s room.
You’re heart ached when you saw your favorite red-cladded turtle laying in his bed, breathing heavily, with a slightly damp wash cloth on his forehead. You smile, walking over to the bed. Thankfully he was awake.
“Hey.” You whispered.
Raph smiled, “Hey, babe.”
You chuckled, checking his forehead. He swiftly grabbed your wrist, yet gently, not to bruise you in any way. This took you by surprise.
He whispered, “Could you hug me? Please?”
You stared at him for a good moment, thinking about how weird sick! Raph was. After a second, you agreed. This put a big soft smile on his face. As you climbed into bed, careful not to hurt Raph, he whispered a soft ‘Thank you’. It was so weird, having such a nice Raph for a change.
While laying there, cuddling, Raph continued to whisper, almost horsely, about how sweet, and pretty you are.
For the rest of the time you spent taking care of him, Raph was very, very polite and sweet. He was much more emotional and vulnerable than you were used to. But, some part of you really enjoyed it. He continuously complimented you. It was just adorable! You should take care of a sick Raphael more often.
