A little first time after math , mildy suggestive mdni, unedited , I really don’t like how I characterised Raph here so any constructive feedback is appreciated
The rain was viscous in its assault of the window pane, tiny torrents tapping meticulously , melodically. Acting as a lullaby to keep you in that delicious in between. You shimmied back on the bed until your back hit the hard grooves of your boyfriend’s plastron.
Still deep in sleep he Instinctively , possessively wound massive arms around you , nestling you further into him, lips smacking as he hooked his jaw on your shoulder. Inhaling deeply , breathing in the smell of you. on the exhale a rolling churr. The vibrations from his chest coiling up your spine.
Although his sleepy grip was firm, you could move. The brightening light paired with the bitter chill drifting in from the cracked window had you turning and retreating further into the mass of muscle, attempting to sap all his body heat greedily. He shifted to accommodate your movement’s, the dawning light beginning to draw him from his sleep. Although he did a very good ‘ im still sleeping’ impression.
You tucked your head up into the crook of his neck, legs tangling with his. Pressing a little peck to the scales that lay there. In a tit for tat manner he pressed a quick kiss to your forehead , arms closing around your new position. He rubbed his head against yours softly before settling with his chin resting on the crown of your head.
“ good morning.” You dared to break the comfortable silence first. You got a grunt in response but you could feel his lips quirk ever so slightly on your head. Not quite content to fein sleep anymore as he seemed so happy to, you gave his mid-section a playful squeeze. He returned with a half hearted squeeze , still with enough strength that encourage a soft giggle to bubble from your lips. That sound had him breaking into a rouge grin.
Pulling back to peer up at his face , he swiftly wiped the smile and continued to pretend to sleep. Boldly you leaned up and placed a chaste kiss to his scared lip. So soft and delicate. He returned gladly. Deepening the kiss , it was painstakingly slow and full of love. Lips moving against each other in a practiced perfected movement. His hand coming up to cradle your face, his fingers fanning across your neck and pulse point, his thumb resting on your chin. Delicious was the only word you could use to describe it.
He broke the kiss, ending it with a few well placed pecks before opening his eyes, half lidded with tiredness. Magnificent golden eyes catching the morning sun, his eyes trailing down and he just looked at you. Like, really looked at you, like he was committing every part of you to memory. Becoming shy you tried to say anything that would take the pressure off his undivided attention to you.
“ how’d you sleep? “ you almost squeaked, the words tumbling out too quickly. he just chuckled , a deep and pure sound. He could read you like a book by now. Amusement and pride swirling on his features as he shifted to prop his head under his arm . “ I slept great “ his voice riddled with a sleepy husk although the smile on his face was inequivicbly happy . The hand that was once cradling your face began to trace the shell of your ear lazily. “ how did you sleep?” He returned; souly to humor your need for conversation. As you thought , your mind travelled back to the night previously.
Immediately your face and skin felt too hot and you could just die with embarrassment. Last night had been the first time for your young budding relationship. And to put it short, he rocked your world. “ amazing “ you breathed. upon seeing your face heat up he heartily laughed, Cuteness aggression getting the better of him as he kissed your temple and pulled you back into him selfishly. you were happy for spotlight to be taken off your vivid blush. Raphael was never one for words in general so expect extra silence in the morning time. You didn’t mind it, you knew him inside out at this point, he was always like a humming ball of tense pent anger.
Now, he felt settled and content to enjoy the rest, to enjoy your body slotted against his and to simply bask in the glow that you emanated. It was almost meditation, last night had him feeling a sense of belonging , of security to know this all wasn’t a rouse, that you wanted him as much as he wanted you. All though he doubted the latter, with how he felt today he genuinely believed no one in the history of time ever loved someone how he loved you.
Distracting him from his train of thought you asked if he’d like coffee and his response was to tighten his grip on your waist, as if you leaving his side for simply five minutes was intolerable , You would be lucky if you left this bed today, not that you’d be complaining.
Very simple scenario: Each turtle gives reader an accessory gift. That's all!

Leonardo
You had learned over the years that gift giving wasn’t one of Leo’s strongest love languages, preferring quality time over materialistic items. Sure, when the time called for a gift like a holiday or an anniversary, the gifts he got for you were always either well thought out, planned, and useful or you had been pining after for some time but never got around to buy for yourself. Gifts outside of that weren’t as common, but they did appear, usually as a surprise silently sitting somewhere for you to find easily. Which is why when you walked into your apartment's kitchen, it was a pleasant surprise to see a baby-blue gift box sitting on your table.
The rectangular box had a white ribbon tying the lid to the box, gently keeping the two together. You smiled brightly, reaching down for the box and picking it up to feel the weight. It had a decent heaviness to it, not enough to be a hindrance but enough for it to be noticeable. You didn’t open the box though, instead waiting for a moment longer with a knowing smile.
Just as predicted a pair of hands suddenly appeared around your hips, a warm body pressing against you from behind. Tilting your head to look up you batted your eyelash at Leo, who returned your warm smile. Leaning down just enough to place a kiss on your forehead he gave your hips a gentle squeeze, happy with the content smile plastered on your face.
“What’s the special occasion?” You giggled, leaning your back against his plastron, pressing the back of your head against his chest to feel the thundering of his heart. A rumbling chuckle vibrated through you as Leo looked down to you with softness in his eyes.
“No occasion, just something to keep you safe” He chuckled.
Now rather intrigued by his statement you turned your attention back to the box, pinching the end of the ribbon you pulled at the silk, the slippery fabric easily undoing itself. Separating the lid from the box you paused, staring at the object within. It looked like a solid, black, flat baton or club from the surface.
“It’s called a tessen,” Leo explained from behind you, watching you take the club in hand. “Unfold it”
Turning and inspecting the tessen you paused, wondering what he means by unfolding it. When you noticed the side looked similar to a paper fan you had used many times through-out your life you understood and slid the fan open. Gasping as the gorgeous midnight blue fan spread out in your hand you marveled at the white blossoms and petals dancing in the wind, giving a serene ethereal feeling to its beauty.
“It’s beautiful,” You breathed.
“Just like you” Leo murmured into the crown of your head. Turning the tessen to study the beautiful craftsmanship, the thin iron spokes between the deep stained wood glinting in the light of your kitchen. The white petals and flowers flowing in the breeze gave the sense of serenity and peace.
“You have to be very careful, sweetheart” Leo reached for the ribbon discarded on the table top he took it in both hands, pulling the fabric taught. Bringing the ribbon to the edge of the fan Leo flicked his wrist, bringing the ribbon over the edge and splitting it in half. “The edge of the fan is a blade, you have to be very careful when you unfold it. When it's folded you can use it as a club, the ends are reinforced for blunt force.
Marveling as Leo’s expert hands took the beautiful weapon from your hands you watched as he folded it back together. He turned it over, the wood lacquer glistening and smooth. Holding the handle of the fan to your eye level Leo leaned down, his bright blue eyes scrutinizing the wood in search of something only he knew of. Taking your hand he extended your pointer finger gliding it along the smooth surface until you felt the slightest difference. It felt like a tiny, circular indentation.
“Can you feel that button?” He questioned.
“Yes?” You smiled curiously at him. Putting just enough pressure to the tip of your finger a small click was heard, the end of the fan's handle segmented into a smaller handle. Taking the smaller handle Leo unsheathed a blade, the surface reflecting your surprised expression. It was a tanto, you only knew this because Leo enjoyed talking to you for hours about weaponry, the handle of the blade just big enough for your hand.
“Leo, this is...wow,” Taking the blade in hand, surprised by how light it was compared to the tessen in the other, your own reflection inspecting back at you as you stared. The blade was brand new, not a single nick or scratch to be seen.
“We can practice at the lair with it some time, I can show you how to properly use it” His voice lowered and his eyes crinkled as he looked at the weapons he had bestowed on you, a sense of worry behind his expression. There was more to his statement and you could feel it, when his eyes finally met yours again you remained quiet and waiting.
“I...I’m not always going to be around if there’s trouble. I’ve accepted that...somewhat. I know we’ve trained and I’ve shown you how to defend yourself, but there’s going to be danger and you aren’t as skilled-”
“Baby,” Before he could continue on his tangent and get lost in his rambling you interrupted him nicely, “I love it, it’s beautiful. I know you’re protecting me,”
Placing the gift on the table with care you wasted no time in turning back to Leo, your hands reaching up to cup his cheeks and guide it down to your own for a deep kiss. His lips molded to yours protectively, one hand trailing up your back and the other firmly pressing you to his plastron. He pulled away and looked down at you, smiling with a fondness that filled you with warmth and sent your heart fluttering.
“I’ll always protect you, somehow, someway. Always,” Leo promised you with a kiss to your forehead, his voice thick with sincerity and love like warm honey.
Raphael
“Come on, keep going!” Raph’s voice boomed off the walls as he stood behind the punching bag hanging from the ceiling, bracing the bag as you drilled into the side vigorously. Focusing on keeping your form and making sure your punches landed on their mark Raph’s unusually loud voice didn’t deter you, instead encouraging and fanning the flame within you.
“Keep your feet apart! That’s it, keep it up, just a couple more jabs!” Grinning with pride as you put all your weight into each solid punch you took, Raph admired you with a toothy grin. Left, right, left, left, right, left, right, right. The only time your eyes wavered from your target was to catch a glance up at Raph, his bright green eyes raking over you to make sure you kept your form while also admiring every single inch of you. His gaze fueled the fire even more, making you swing harder and with more precision.
“Heh, easy tiger, easy! Stand down,” Raph called out to you with a laugh, grinning at you proudly. Pulling back your fists with a huff you paused, waiting to see what he would instruct you with next. He admired that about you, always willing to listen to him and follow his instructions when you trained with him, knowing full well this was all to make sure you could keep yourself safe and hold your own when you needed to.
“You did good today, doll. Let’s call it a break,” Stepping out from behind the bag Raph slid the towel from his shoulder and handed it to you. It was clean but still held his scent heavily, not that you complained at all. Dabbing the sweat from your brow you watched as Raph strolled across the dojo and to his workout bench. Picking up the dripping water bottle from the condensation ring he tossed the bottle to you, smirking as you fumbled to catch it.
“Mean!” You yelled at him, the cold droplets splattering against your hot skin.
“What? I’m just testin’ ya reflexes” He played innocent, a devilish smirk plastered across his cheeks. An abrupt look of realization washed over him at his own words, his bright green eyes flickering with a memory you had no idea about. “Hang on, wait right here!”
He took off towards his room a second later, disappearing down the hall for a moment without explaining any further. Cracking open the water bottle and taking a sip you waited patiently, rather curious by what exactly in his sentence sparked the memory and what he was grabbing. Rushing back with a childish grin and something shiny in his fist Raph returned. Stopping only a step in front of you he uncurled his fist, a red metal rod the length of a pencil sitting in his palm. One end had indented grips for a handle and a keyring while the other end tapered off into a blunt point.
“What is it?” You questioned, picking up the surprisingly light weapon.
“It’s called a Kubotan. It’s a self defense keychain, if you hold it in your fist it’ll make it so your punches are sturdier and harder,” He reached a hand over and gently curled yours into a fist around the kubotan, the grips molding around your fingers as though it was made to fit like a puzzle piece. “The other end you can use either to stab someone in the pressure or reflex point, break a window in an emergency- or a rib if you stab them hard enough”
Turning the kubotan in your hand you couldn’t help but smile at the shade of red, oddly similar to Raph’s own mask. Of course he would pick something that would remind you of him in every way; blunt, quick, and red in color. It was easy to move in your hands with how light it was, possibly made from steel if you had to guess.
“I love it babe, thank you” Lifting your head to look up at him you smiled brightly, “I’ll make sure I always have it,”
“That’s why there’s a keychain” He teased, leaning down to place a kiss on your lips. You couldn’t help but giggle against his mouth at the comment, because of course he would say something smartass like.
Donatello
“I’m so glad you’re here!” Was the first sentence you heard from Donnie as you walked into the lab, putting a bright smile on your face. There was no time for you to greet him back as he was beside you in a second, taking your right arm and guiding your hand outward. You allowed him to fiddle with your wrist, wrapping something silicone snuggly and making sure it is secured.
“I just finished it,” Donnie’s eyes sparkled with pride at the device now attached to your arm. Pulling the device close enough to inspect you recognized it as a sort of smartwatch, the face of the digital watch was bigger than a normal smartwatch was the first thing you noticed. The screen brightened, the word ‘Hello!’ greeting you with an adorable smiley face.
“It’s a type of smartwatch I made for you, I call it the Multi-Tech Watch” He began explaining, pride in every word he spoke as you tapped the screen. The smiling face that had greeted you giggled and changed screens, showing you icons for different functions that Donnie was clearly about to burst at the seams with excitement to explain further.
“You can give it a name, I gave it a cute and simple AI system that can be customized to your preferences. It’s main objective is your safety, so it has plenty of devices”
“When did you start making this?” You questioned as he ushered you further into his lab and into a seat, wheeling his computer chair next to you for more comfortability as he showed you how the device worked. No memories of this invention being mentioned in the past occurred to you as you inspected the new device.
“I was keeping it a secret, I wanted to surprise you...and make sure everything worked as intended,” He gave you a sheepish grin and rubbed the back of his neck, something he always did when he was about to admit something embarrassing to you, “I had to make sure the mace feature worked correctly cause I...might have sprayed myself,”
“Oh my God! You didn’t wear your goggles again, did you?” You chided and suddenly pulled the device far from your face, not wanting the mace function to go off as though on queue. Not wanting to admit further folly Donnie took your hand and guided it back to his front, his large finger somehow able to tap the tiny screen.
Showing you each function for each app Donnie designed himself he explained each of their uses. The app icon with a lightning bolt released a pair of prongs for a taser on the side pointing away from you, the silicone band serving as a barrier from being shocked when in use. A thumb-tack icon was the next app he explained. When pressed the icon gave you three simple options; Send tracker, which launched a sticky button tracker that sent out a signal to the watch and Donnie’s computer. Option two said ‘Track Me’ that would send your immediate location to the pre-programmed contacts Donnie had installed. The last option was a simple GPS, something that would help you get to your destination easier.
A simple flashlight was the next icon, its function rather obvious but came with the simple options. There was a color wheel off to the side, giving you the option to change the color of the light or allow you to rotate through the rainbow or a customized set you could create. There was also a blue-light option, a function he added for when you fell asleep wearing the watch to help soothe you in your sleep.
“For the mace option,” Donnie pointed your wrist directly out in front of you, the watch pointing straight forward to an invisible enemy, “If you press the little spray can icon and hold it for five seconds, the watch will spray a thick cloud of bear mace. You only have a few charges for this, so be careful and try not to waste it. There’s a feature that will let me know when the canister is empty and needs to be refilled,”
“How exactly did you spray yourself again?” You questioned him, interrupting his tangent with a cocky smirk.
“I’ll explain later. Now, for the coup de grace” Dodging your question quickly he took your wrist back, excitedly showing you the icon of a tiny turtle with a helicopter propeller on its shell. It was adorable frankly, but what exactly its function was wasn’t very clear by the icon. Pressing the button the watch opened on a virtually invisible hinge. Tiny whirling propellers began singing as an incredibly small drone popped out, shaped like a tiny turtle with four suction cup shaped feet. A tiny screen attached to the shell turned on, the adorable smile previously on the watch now greeting you on the smallest drone you have ever seen.
“Oh my God it’s adorable!” You practically shrieked with delight at the tiny drone smiling at you, flying around your wrist and head in a figure eight. Grinning proudly Donnie watched for a moment as the tiny drone stopped in front of your face, a small giggle coming from it. Could it speak? You didn’t know just yet, but either way it was precious.
“I didn’t name it, I figured you would want to do that yourself. This little guy is equipped with an AI personality that will grow as the two of you get to know each other, a tiny camera to take pictures and videos, and if you ever get into too much trouble the watch is designed to immediately launch the drone and seek me out for help”
“This is awesome, Donnie,” Cooing at the drone as it slipped itself back into its rightful place in the watch, closing seamlessly and face returning to the watches screen. “I love it, I can’t believe you made this without me knowing. Thank you, I’ll make sure to keep it on me at all times”
“I’m so glad you like it, I’ll upgrade and add stuff to it as I think of them...I just want to make sure you stay safe” Leaning over in your seat you placed a quick kiss to his cheek, more than happy with your gift and eager to pick a name for your new little AI friend.
Michelangelo
The white string of lights gave off a comforting glow within the fort both you and Mikey had made in the middle of your living room. The original plan of a picnic on your apartment roof had been quickly dashed when the roll of thunder echoed in the distance and was quickly closing in. The two of you managed to clamber back into your apartment through your window, sliding the glass shut just as the skies opened up into waves of heavy rain. The gentle tapping of droplets against the window panes and roar of thunder from outside washed a feeling of serenity over the apartment.
Sudden weather change didn’t mean you couldn’t still have a picnic. Mikey didn’t even give you an explanation, simply started grabbing your extra bed sheets and began arranging couch cushions. With little hesitation you began gathering supplies as well, pulling out a box of Christmas lights that had greeted you by falling on your head when you opened one of your closets.
Using broom or mop handles to hold up fitted sheets like canopies, stringing the lights and using chip clips to keep them in the air, and piling the couch cushions and any pillow he could find into a makeshift nest with a special blanket spread out for the food. Mikey beamed with pride at his work before grabbing the food that had been packed originally for a rooftop escapade. You spread out the picnic on the blanket while Mikey turned on the music, using his bluetooth speaker he brought with him.
“This was a great idea, babe,” You praised, smiling warmly as you sat next to him.
“I wasn’t about to let something like a little rain ruin my date with you, Angelcakes!” Mikey beamed with pride, feeling that he had successfully saved the date the two of you had planned some time ago. Scooting himself closer to you he smiled brightly and crossed his legs, reaching a hand behind him slowly. While building the fort he had snuck a present into the cushions while you weren’t looking. He couldn’t wait anymore, he had to give it to you even if he wanted to originally wait until you two ate.
“What’s that smile for?” Giggling at the grin splitting Mikey’s face, you adjusted yourself in your seat, recognizing that ‘I can’t keep it back any longer’ grin and glint in his bright blue eyes. Pulling out the slender and long box from behind his back he handed it to you with a smile that could brighten the darkest room. Taking the gift box with eagerness you held it in your hands, inspecting the cream-orange wrapping paper he had picked to match his mask. Tearing the paper away you opened the white box eagerly and gasped.
A beautifully slender black wooden hair stick with an adorable paper lantern with a tassel dangling at the end sat inside its faceted velvet confines. It was so simple yet so beautiful. Eagerly reaching over Mikey gently took the accessory from its box, rolling it over in his hand to admire the craftsmanship himself yet again. Wrapping an arm around you Mikey hauled you into his lap and held the hair stick in front of you.
“This isn’t just something beautiful, baby girl” Mikey explained softly, his tone low and caring. “If you grab the end with the lantern and the middle, you just need to twist gently like this” Pinching the stick just as he had instructed he gave the stick a gently tweak, you half expected the stick to be broken in half, but instead he pulled out a slender dagger hidden within the stick.
“Oh, wow,” You breathed as you saw your eyes reflecting off the metal, both parts gorgeous and functional. Gently taking the dagger from his hand you inspected its slender form, the paper lantern charm surprisingly very light and posing no difficulty or obstruction as you held the handle. “Mikey, this is beautiful, thank you. Where did you get this?”
“I might have bought it online...with Donnie’s help,” Smiling down at you with a softness that reached his eyes, the bright blue irises brimming with pride at how much you loved the gift. “I wanted to get you something pretty that you’d use daily and could protect you! Just in case I’m not there...and can’t protect you myself,” He looked uncomfortable as he admitted this, the thought of you getting hurt sending a wave of anxiety through him. Placing the accessory in his hand with a gentle, reassuring smile you reached up the under hand to his chin and lifted his head so that he could gaze at you.
“Can you help me put it in?” You requested, wanting to distract him from the thoughts threatening to cloud Mikey’s mood. That bright smile you would shield anything from returned to his face immediately, popping the tip of the hair stick between his lips while his hands began raking gently through your hair when you turned around.
“I looked up a couple of YouTube videos on how to do this,” You could hear and feel the warmth in his voice, closing your eyes and relaxing as Mikey molded your hair to secure the hair stick within.
Can I request 2003 guy's (separate) where they have a crush on nb reader who loves giving nicknames to people but they have more special nicknames for the turtle guy
For example, "Hey lovely" "sweetie are you alright?" "Darling no-" "Handsome! How you doin?" "Love? You good?"
If ever the turtle guy gave them a sweet nickname? They get so flustered and flattered

The brothers think it's cute how you give cute nicknames.
Mikey and Donny prefer it the most.
Raphael would be the most embarrassed, and Leonardo would call you cute with a smile in return.
Mikey often calls you an angel or a sun, also hoping that you might like it.

“Just rip the bandaid off”
The sudden sound of the weights thumping down floor woke you up for spiraling thoughts, yet, your body hadn't a single reaction out of it, it was normal to get used to abrupt, rapid movements when talking about Raphael, as he grabs his gym towel heading towards the exit, he looks back at you, even without glasses, even with the stinging sensation in the corner of your eyes due unshed tears, you can draw out a mix of angry and disappointed expression.
“If you can’t handle it, then rip the bandaid off”
And that’s what you did.
One thing you knew for sure; Your brain is a bitch. Your memory sucked ass into remembering nice moments: the sensation of kisses, the last good bone- crushing hug you had, the last time your mom said she was proud of you. But agonizing, painful memories? Those were on a loop constantly.
Every strong emotion made Raph’s eyes shine like gemstones, vivid, vibrant, now varnished with disdain, it was beautiful; you hated how you were the reason his golden irises were so gleaming and captivating.
That was 6 months ago, at least you think it was, quarantine sure proved something: time is indeed an illusion that doesn’t make sense. It seems like it was longer than that, although the pain made you grounded as it was yesterday. The last conversation you had with Raphael felt like a sore goodbye on both ends. You wish you could forget it, trick your brain into thinking it’s a happy memory so it can toss it away into the nearest trash.
Looking back at it, you should have fought back. Argued, yelled at him even. You should've made your point about how you didn’t want it to let go. But you were so tired, god- the lifeless sensation of how your body felt back then still phantoms you, it was honestly ridiculous, how a simple phrase could drag you back into the shadows back then. Or maybe you were never truly out of it, just constantly living in the dark, both hyper-aware and oblivious. You didn't know anymore- a sentence, a reaction, someone else even, those could easily remind you how dark your mind could dive, So yeah, you clearly didn’t have any more strength to fight back, who would have known that being in constant fight with your own self would be so arduous? Maybe only you will know how much it took it from you, how desperately you wanted to hold onto it. And maybe that was the problem, there was nothing to hold on to anymore.
During that night, you didn’t know how long you remained glued on the concrete ground after Red left their training room. How long you stared at the gray walls, the foundation of the lair was unsettling cold. It made you feel more isolated than ever, you found yourself unable to control random shivers traveling through your body. You felt small, pathetic. Tears quietly slid from your cheeks to the very end of your chin. You felt invisible, literally, you could identify what the lair residents were up to by your own lack of sound, vague questions and noises that made you feel even more distant and undeserving to be there. You don’t know how long you remained motionless; sitting and staring at nothing, wishing it was different, but not really sure how to change the future.
You don’t know how you managed to drag yourself to the entrance of the lair, you found yourself there at some point of the night, turning back one more time. You loved that place, even if it took ages to get used to the sewer’s damp smell, you still loved it. you have always seen it as home. Sure, it was actually an abandoned intersection of a reservoir sewage station, yet filled with bits of love. Sewer sweet sewer, In every corner, from the dōjō to any repaired piece of furniture, graffiti or neon sign, it was laced with care and devotion. A house could be made of wood, cement or bricks and it was made for shelter, a home means safety, comfort and belonging, a shelter and much more, The lair is a home. was.
Tears ran down your cheeks as you glanced at the Christmas lights above the homemade living room, you remember how you helped them place it there 2 christmas ago, the boys decided not to take it back, it gave a inviting cozy glow, which matched so gracefully with all the wonderful times you had there.
It's strange to desperately have the desire to stay and run away at the same time, pressing your lips tight, inhaling deeply- you were not going to sob your way out of it. Gripping hard at your backpack straps, you know you were going to miss how they made you feel, especially him. Dealing with the lack of it, how it became a foreigner feeling once again was one of the toughest parts during this whole fiasco of…. whatever was left remaining between the two of you, only some fond memories lingered, for a while those were the source of warmth during silent nights, but lately, it was a fuel to a abyss you could not stand being in it no more.
When your friendship with Mikey first started, you initially thought ‘that's it, that's something to treasure forever.’ How can two people be so close one day, to complete strangers in a course of some weeks still perturbs your mind and heart to this day.
Mikey wasn’t home when you arrived that day, your first intention was to talk out your last text messages, You weren’t sure how the conversation would start, or if it would even flow at all, you truly missed the times you could just talk about anything to him finding a topic to bond over was as easy as breathing air. He’d be busy. He needed to train, or out with his new friends. As usual, you were always the understanding friend, you knew everyone has their daily duties and hell, being the overbearing clingy friend? No, thank you.
You and Mikey were different, at least you thought so, it was ok to be vulnerable with him, and him to you, you shared how you always held back truly connecting with others, afraid of how dependable you could become. You’ve seen it firsthand how much that could hurt, Mikey made you feel that you could trust, that you could rely on him, and for once you believed it.
The first time you felt the unsettling vibe of not being so welcomed anymore was heart wrenching, even by now, you thought you would get used to it. It happened too many times for you to “not receive an invitation”, to be forgotten over hangouts, to being left out of jokes. You knew way too well the thin line between hanging out and being invited over pity.
That’s how you ended up talking to Raphael, maybe wasn’t the starter choice, he was a good friend, sure, but not the greatest with words. Leo and Don would have tried to understand your end at the time. but Raph was closest with Mikey. He saw how sometimes your unspoken, pitiful- whatever the hell this”friendship” is could gut his little brother. Mikey had intense feelings just like Raph, he understood him, and at the end, he would choose his side over yours.
You looked at the lair one last time, trying to preserve what you know you couldn’t have anymore: the warm welcomings, laughing until 5 in the morning, Mario Kart competitions, you name it. As you choke out a cry and walk towards the exit, what were good memories are now too painful to be felt and be remembered, although you already knew that it would haunt you constantly.
Only if you knew a certain turtle, who’s very fond of the color purple, watched and listened to it all in his lab. All of it. All 6 months of it.
Donatello’s top 5 regrets was not coming after you when you ran out crying, if he only knew this would drag into months on end, he would tackle you in a hug and tell you that you are indeed going to be missed, the time he wished to respect your privacy, looking back now, he knew it was a bad move on his end, Donnie was too used to observation and theories, that in this moment the situation needed a bit more action.
When you first befriended the turtles, there was an unspoken contract that they would track every move of you, for your safety and theirs as well.Donatello still had trackers on your personal turtle device, all of their humans friends had turtle-watches, not only for safety or rapid contact, but it also tracked vital signals, indicating any problems or disturbances about their friend's health.
So, when Donnie didn't see both of you and Mikey hanging out weekly, he didn’t think much of it, maybe you were just busy. But,when your signals started to point signs of bad nutrition, he got worried. When it showed a barely fictional human being, followed by hasty, god-awful goodbye (the courtesy of his older brother) he got obsessed with checking on you at least 4 times a week.
When your tracker suddenly shut down, he knew it was bad.
A different sound emitted from Donnie’s lab one quiet morning, a sound that if you have paid close attention, never went off before, this could have gone unnoticed because well, It’s Donnie. Every month he was working on something new, so maybe that was it, right?
By the way the second youngest flew out off the living room couch and, almost knocking Leo as he passed by, it truly showed the severity of the distinct sound.
"You have been away from your lab for 15 minutes and there's already a "situation?" Leo stood by the lab door, watching his brother's fingers work frantically while his eyes didn’t leave the monitors.
"Yes, i'm overachieving" Donnie replied, Leo cautiously approached, truth to be told, he wasn’t fond of Donnie’s lab. Sure, it was great for secret sharing, strategy talk, toaster fixing area, yes. However, the possibility that any sudden movements there might result in catastrophe made Leonardo feel uneasy to say the least. His movements were always precise inside his brother's favorite Lair spot. Don finally guided Leo's eyes with a short nod after a intrigued "So?" left his lips, a main notification wouldn't budge from the screen, your tracker wasn't on anymore.
The leader reached for his katana instinctively, ready to head towards the door. He felt a firm hand hold his bicep
"Pump the breaks, I don't think that's necessary", Leo raised a brow, Donnie was already familiar enough to understand how his brother was once again, questioning what on Earth he was on about - "I have been... monitoring them." Casting his eyes down, Don doesn't like to call it stalking, neither does his older brother, due the circumstances of their reality, they needed to keep an eye out, just to be to safe, That's what they would always say in the back of their heads. "I think they disconnected themself"
"Can you handle this?" Leo asked looking back towards the door to check if anyone was around. Donnie told him what happened that day, infuriated was a nickname for how the oldest felt after hearing about it.
Raphael didn't had any right to treat you like that, but he also knew if they argued about this, Michelangelo would find out, and the possible outcomes of it weren't pretty. He did make sure to be somewhat transparent about his knowledge over the secret quarrel, glancing towards Raphael if someone questioned your sudden dissapearance.
Truth to be told, Leo had no idea what to do. Figuring emotional, sentimental matters isn't his strong suit, and talking with Master Splinter would only raise red flags all around the situation. So they kept the situation under the rug. only if he knew what was going on between the two of you would drag it for months, he truly wished he had done something sooner.
"Yeah," Donnie remembers clearly how crushed you looked back then. Was it fair to visit you? To make you relive all those unpleasant memories?
"I hope so." His carapace met the cushion of his favorite chair followed by a drawn-out sigh as silence settled between the two brothers.
Honey colored eyes turned back into the monitors, Donnie knew briefly how you managed to get by these past months. From monitoring subway stations you caught towards work, to hijacking the local market surveillance cameras. he was glad that you were indeed getting by or so it seems. Again, he doesn't like to call it stalking. It's not like he watches you 24/7, maybe, 16/7? Weekly checkups? Just to make sure you are alright, that's what friends do, right?
Donnie felt a light hand over his shoulder, followed by a pair of sorrowful yet sympathetic Imperial blue eyes, "Tell they have been missed." A half-smile graces Leo’s features. There was mutual sentiment between them. Just because you were mainly Michelangelo's (former) best friend, doesn't mean you didn't leave a print on everyone else.
"Shall do." Donnie responds with an uncertain smile as he stares back into the monitors. Quickly gathering his gear, it was already nighttime. Soon enough they all needed to headout.
Don sneaked towards the garage entrance by Leo's guidance, he had exactly 48 minutes before patrol, he could be at your place in exactly 9 minutes and 36 seconds, 7 minutes if there was no humans luckering on closest manhole’s alleys to your place, Don lips grow thin and firm, is 38 minutes and 24 seconds is enough to cover a 6 month silence between all of you?
Can I request a Leo×reader scenario in which the couple argues and then makes up? it doesn't have to be hardcore angsty for the argument, some fluff at the end would be really nice♡
tysm and have a nice day~
(TW FOR THIS AUTHOR'S NOTE: COVID MENTION.) Sure thing! I want to apologize for my absence once again (I do this on all of my posts, I know, it's embarrassing lol)- I've been absolutely booked. I just tested positive with COVID this morning, however, so since I'm forced to stay at home I have more time to write. I'm asymptomatic at the moment, so I'm not completely dying over here. Please don't worry about me; I'm fully vaccinated and completely fine.
This also follows the same basic premise as these headcanons I wrote, except in those the reader argues with Raph and not Leo.
Anyway, onto the (long overdue) scenario!
Aside from Raph, you hardly knew Leo to be the arguing type. If any of the brothers got into an argument (which was rare in and of itself), Leo was the one to stand between them. It made sense, seeing as he was the leader. Leaders mediate fights to keep the group unified. Pretty much the whole job description.
Because of this, you felt comfortable sharing everything with Leo. He often served as a sort of life coach to you: if you had problems with work or school, you'd go straight to him and he'd give you some advice that, later, fixed the situation perfectly. If he wasn't a mutant turtle, you would've tried to push him to become a therapist.
Tonight, of course, was like any other night- you'd came back to the lair after a long day, toting a couple boxes of pizza with you. It was your night to cook, and you didn't have much time. You did, however, have some time to swing through the local DVD shop and grab a disc with lost episodes of Space Heroes. You'd spotted it through the window a few days prior, but hadn't had time to stop by. Besides, today was your one year anniversary with Leo and you didn't have a gift yet. The timing couldn't have been more perfect.
When you stepped out of the tunnel and into the lair, the first thing you heard was yelling. You knew who it was almost instantly: Leo and Raph. Things were growing more tense with them lately. This was the second argument of theirs this week.
Sighing, you dropped the pizzas precariously on the turnstile, making sure the disc was safely secured in your messenger bag lying against your hip. As long as they weren't throwing punches, you had a chance of de-escalating the situation.
Despite how loud the yelling was, you could still hear your footsteps clack on the concrete as you crossed the living area into the hallway were the bedrooms were.
"You think you're so high and mighty, huh? 'I'm Leo and since I'm the leader I call all the shots! I can do no wrong!'" Bang. "Have you ever thought that maybe you aren't perfect?!"
"I'm not saying I'm perfect Raph, just that my plan is better! If your plan was the best choice, I'd pick it!"
"Yeah, because that's happened before!"
You felt your stomach fill with dread as you stepped through an invisible barrier, into their argument. Two sets of eyes turned on you, and you could've sworn they felt like lasers.
"This doesn't concern you, Y/N."
Time paused for a moment as no one moved. You could feel Leo's exasperation from a mile away, but that didn't phase you- you'd dealt with this before.
"When you're yelling loud enough for me to hear as I walk in, yes, it does." You stared him dead in the face, doing your best to play up the 'stubborn bouncer' act.
"You don't even know what we're talking about. This is important stuff."
Maybe this was a little tougher than usual.
"You're not 'talking', you're arguing."
Leo sighed, rolling his eyes. "Can you just go away? You don't need to inject yourself in everything!"
...
Oh.
You didn't say anything, and you felt your eyes tear up as you slowly backed away, the bag holding Leo's gift rubbing against your side. Even though you felt miles away from the brothers, you could still feel the shock radiating from them both.
You didn't care. You just wanted away.
Instinctively, you wandered into the dojo, seating yourself cross-legged in front of the large tree.
The time that passed held no value to you. It could've been five minutes or five hours. You couldn't think as Leo's words reverberated through your head.
Maybe you were too nosy. There was no real reason for you to get involved except to fuel your saviorism. They would've come to an agreement whether or not you had shown up. No matter how harsh his words were, Leo did have a point.
Besides, what would you have done? Have them calmly explain the entire backstory of their argument and patiently wait for you to solve it for them?
Maybe you-
Creak.
You felt someone at the doorway. There was no question as to who it was. With a sigh, you turned your head around to see Leo standing in the doorway, staring at his hands. After a second, his head lifted and you met eyes. His mouth opened as if he wanted to say something, but no sound came out.
He took a deep breath, and as you felt the guilt rising up you closed your eyes. "Y/N, I-"
"I'm sorry," You both blurted out at the same time. Leo's eyes widened as you opened your eyes.
"... Y/N, you have nothing to apologize for," Leo said.
You shook your head. "No, I do. It was out of my bounds to try and act like I'm above you guys. There was no reason for me to try and mediate a conflict that I knew nothing about."
"I didn't mean what I said, Y/N. I don't know why I said it. None of it was true."
Despite yourself, you chuckled a little. "It actually was kinda true. I get nosey sometimes, and I get that it can be annoying."
There was a ghost of a smile on Leo's face. "There's no convincing you. You've always been stubborn."
A laugh bubbled from your throat. "That's my charm."
Leo's smile grew, and he walked to your side as you stood up. "You know," you said, "It's a special day."
"That it is," Leo replied.
"And I might just have a little something for you." You winked as you put your hand in the bag containing the Space Heroes disc.
"You got me a gift? You didn't have to-"
"Hush," You said, holding your free hand up to Leo's face. "I insist."
Leo rolled his eyes playfully as you drew the disc out and presented it to him. He didn't speak for a moment, his eyes sparkling with surprise.
"Wait, is that...?"
"Ten lost episodes of Space Heroes? Yes, yes it is."
Before you knew it, the disc was gone from your hands and Leo was sprinting across the dojo to the TV, dragging you by the hand.
How about a scenario not a headcannon of 2012 leo x reader where the reader gets mutated into a turtle like them and if you can can you let him watch them get mutated (I love 2012 leo)
Hey again! Thanks for asking. I was never doing scenario before, this is the first time so I hope that you will like it.
When you don't like it, message me anytime 💜💜
Here we go
Leo (2012) x reader scenario

For Leo this was the worst experience of his life
Reader, Leo and his brothers were in a battle with a Foot Clan
Foot Clan captured the reader and kidnapped them

He tried as hard as he could but as he was in the middle of a fight with the soldiers, he didn't have time to catch up in time for the reader and the Foot Soldiers threw them into the canister with the mutaten
Leo saw with his own eyes how his love turned into a turtle
He ran to them, helped them out and together with the others he ran to the lair
He cried all the time
When they came to Donnie's lab, Donnie started doing tests on them and told the others to wait outside
Leo waited hours and hours before the lab and played the whole situation in his head
He hoped that when the reader wake up, they would forigive him
May I request a scenario where Usagi had a short-lived love affair with a female swordswoman during the Battle Nexus and he reunites with her a few years later only to discover that she had his child?
Sure thing😄💕 you can choose what she is, what her name is, etc.
♡🐇 USAGI MIYAMOTO 🐇♡
On Second Earth, Usagi was going about his business when he saw a very familiar face. His mind flashed back a few years ago when he met this person, this woman, during the Battle Nexus tournament. She was a wonderful swordsman and he had taken a liking to her.
He talked to her and became good friends with her. One night, he invited her to go out and have a drink with him. She accepted, and during the time they turned into lovers. The relationship wasn't able to work right away so they went their separate ways. He continued his training on becoming a ronin. However that never stopped him from thinking about her from time to time.
He comes up to her and says,"Hello (first name)."
She turns around and replied,"Usagi! I've been looking everywhere for you!" She hugged him tightly, like she used to those odd years ago. "I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you just as much, my darling." he'd say, holding her close. "How are you?"
"I'm doing okay."
He'd talk to her like times before, and then he'd hear a child saying,"Mama, mama, look it." He looked up to see... a small version of himself with (f/n)'s eyes. She looked at the child and smiled at the grass bug they were holding.
"Yeah, that's a grasshopper." she giggled as she talked to him/her.
"You're a mother?"
She hugged the kid against her. She smiled as she said,"Yes, I am. And..." She looked down and then back up at him. "You're the father, Usagi."
His heart pounded. This was his son/daughter... He had a child. If he'd known that she was carrying his child, he wouldn't have 'abandoned' her, so to speak.
"If I'd have known..."
"It's okay. I found out sometime after we separated that I was pregnant. But... I never wondered who the father was, because I already knew." She smiled back at him. "Can we try this again, Usagi?"
He agreed to be reunited with (f/n) once again and have a son/daughter of his own. Perhaps maybe more children in the future to come?
summary: You are a fantastic baker. Knowing you would be a success your uncle entrusted his bakery to you before he passed. You met them one night when you were being robbed and they came to your rescue. You offered them free sweets and they never left from then on. You, of course, warm up to them as they warm up to you. You bake them sweet delectables and they are you, favorite taste testers. They boys hangout through the night and protect you from the Purple Dragons.
One night you find something out of the ordinary from your favorite turtle.
A/N: I was originally going to write this as a complete one-shot, but knowing I had a few requests I wanted to finish, I opted for a scenario. Hopefully, you enjoy. Tried my BEST to edit this, but it is 3 am in eastern time, so take it easy on me! @donnie-duz-machines sorry to bother, but I love the way you write about donnie, mind giving this a read? Thanks! Hope you are well!

As you waited for Donnie to come to check on the shop, because it was his night, you laid on some pink lipgloss and checked your face. (Ohhh, you cute!) You were satisfied, fixing your hair a little and bringing out the few treats that were leftover from the day, you put them in bags, ready for Donnie to pick up. You really wished to see him today however, a horrible and rude customer put a dent in your usual cheery mood as they screamed insults at you. You kindly asked them to leave, refusing them service, and when they left other customers consoled you. To say the customer was nasty was an understatement. But you were responsible and continued on with the day and now you were exhausted.
As you wait, you couldn’t help but feel excited like every time you got when you were alone with Donatello. Craving to see him, without looking desperate, though if only you had known what Donnie was feeling like when he got to see you?
This purple terrapin always made sure he smelled fresh and clean every time he went to see you, even after patrol, he didn’t want you to think he smelled like sweat and grime ALL the time! Tonight he was going to do it. He was going to confess his feeling for you. If he didn’t chicken out the last minute like the week before. Donnie had grown sweet with you, you were very kind and understanding, you enjoyed his company and his personality. It didn’t hurt that you were a very attractive human. Donnie saw a lot of things in you, listing them would be a pain!
As he neared the bakery, he couldn’t wait to see what special treat you had made him, knowing it would be made just for him, made it all the better. Donnie had a hard time speaking with other people, they’d get lost in his explanations or simply ignore him, but you, you listened and you were patient. To you, Donnie was an excellent talker, and to Donnie, you were an amazing listener. Two halves of the perfect soul.
He admired how you were so gentle with him, he didn’t have that with his brother, he never held it against them but, he never knew that it was something he needed. Or even wanted. As he stepped through the back door of the bakery, the smell of cookies, frosting, coffee, and chocolate invaded his nostrils. He’d never get enough of that smell because it reminded him of you. As he walked through to the entrance of the bakery and out of the back, he was mesmerized by your summer fit. Form-fitting and flowery, his face bloomed at the sight of you. Clearing his throat to prevent himself from choking on his words or his voice breaking he finally spoke. “Hey, (y/n), everything alright?”
You spun around, a grin on your face immediately present, walking over with a pep in your step, you engulfed your crush with a hug. “I’m doing alright, how are you, Donnie sweetie?” He smiled and hugged back, breathing in your scent. Knowing he’d miss it when you pulled away. You obviously smelled of warm goods, but your natural scent was addictive, cinnamon and honey. Sweet with a little bit of spice, who could resist. Donnie’s patrol was over, so he sat down to chat.
You showed him your newest pop tart creation, you noticed more kids in your bakery accompanying their parents. Deciding to add another option, creating a better chance that parents would buy them something. You decided that a pop tart might be the way to go if you advertised it correctly. Your final decision was honestly an excuse to make them because you knew Donnie would love them. And of course, he did!
Devouring them he couldn’t help but compliment you, “Usually, I’m just a frosting kinda guy, and-and pop tarts always lack enough, but this- this right here, it really is just-it’s downright amazing! Your amazing!” He blurted out without thinking, but he meant it because you were amazing. But he kinda said it out of jitters, trying to find the perfect time to tell you the truth without rushing out the building whenever you got cutely flirty with him as a response.
“Oh, I don’t think I’m that great Donnie, but thank you,” you looked away bashfully while Donnie thought his heart would explode, he also couldn’t help but notice you were being more than a little modest. “You really are- are ya know, great… no need to be modest. I think you’re kind and caring. See lots are humans are vain, but you’ve opened your life up to me and my brothers with open arms. You follow your heart, and you always do what’s right… It’s admirable and it’s also impressive that your still level headed when you need to be…-”
As he ranted about all the things he liked about you, you walked around the counter that separated you both. He was too busy looking at his fingers as he rambled to notice you staring at him from his side. Encaptivated by his ramblings, you starred until the feeling of your eyes on the side of his head burned it. As he stopped mid-sentence and looked back at you, his cheeks felt like fire and so did yours. But all those nice things he said about you couldn’t have been staged, his passion was clear. Could this mean that you would finally be able to tell him the truth?
As he watched you bashfully, he couldn’t help but spit out apologies for being so bold, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to- I hope you don’t, ya’ know take offense to that.” His voice cracked and he felt his confidence breaking. ‘God, I feel like an idiot, she’s probably going to pity me if I tell her the truth.’ You didn’t however, as he looked away, you reached over and placed your hand over his. “Donnie, that was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. Ever.”
You looked at him adoringly, completely infatuated with him after what he said. He had basically gone as far as to compliment how you looked, how you dress, detailing how you were very good at having a fashion-forward wardrobe through his rambling. He had described you as the most beautiful women in the world, how could he perceive you so perfectly?
It wasn’t that hard, he was in love with you, all of you. To Donatello, you were venus and he was a simple commoner offixiated by your beauty, hoping, dreaming to catch your attention through the sea of men you could choose from. As you held his hand, he studied your eyes. The glimmer in them made his pupils dialate, staring back at your beautiful eyelashes, your flushed cheeks. How long could he keep this up? He had to tell you…
“Donnie.. I… I”, you stumbled as you leaned forward, watching his lips, licking your own gently. Looking back at his russet eyes, you leaned in further, not wanting to wait for him to lean halfway. Just wanting to feel his rough lips against your own. Closing his eyes, waiting for you to take the step forward, and as your nose bumped against his snout, you paused for a fraction of a second. Pressing your confidence further and pressing them softly against his.
The feeling of his warm and rough lips was causing your head to spin as he pressed back softly. The first few seconds were strange as your lips were simply pressed against each other. As you pushed a little pressure back and smiled he slowly moved his lips apart, it was strange and you both took a breath as you pulled apart. “I suppose it’s safe to say we both feel the same about each other,” he snorted with his signature little chuckle. You giggled and placed your other hand on his cheek, “I definitely agree. Now come here, ya hunk!”
You both smiled as you kissed and you both parted your lips, the rhythm was a lot smoother this time. One hand had wrapped around his waist as your bit softly on his bottom lip and he churred softly. You pulled away with your mouth in an ‘O’ shape, he looked away embarrassed at the sound he had made. “That was the cutest thing i’ve ever heard, do it again~”
You cooed at him while you pulled him in for another kiss, “heh, sure”, his voice cracked and the entire time you could feel a pull at your chest that swelled upwards and forced your mouth into a smile. You’d be kissing him all night until he made that sound again. The goodies for his brothers, long forgotten.
