So. I', watching the TotTMNT with my mom, and the moment Raph called Hun "Hunny Bun" on top of a list of nicknames. I was like "damn, that's an oddly affectionate nickname. You know people ship those two. I can see why."

And then my mom responded "I don't know, people call their pets equally affectionate nicknames, like Lovi and Sweeties (two of our cats)."

Which was probably a way of saying affectionate nicknames could be completely platonic, but my brain for whatever reason jumped to "So Hun is Raph's pet now." and guys I have a new headcannon.
