How I think Raphael would express affection to Haarlep

It would be easier in a modern au than in the toxicity of the hells, so I based it on that for the most part.

Accepting their affection without words to diminish them.

Leaning in to touch, shutting the fuck up some times, doing gestures that look thoughtless but actually show how well he knows them, like getting a coffee in the morning and grabbing one for Haarlep as well (of course their favourite order even though he hates to ask for sprinkles) whilst Haarlep is still in bed.

Accepting their individual needs, like finding a routine that works with two different sleep schedules (they are an autism X ADHD couple to me, so making amendments for both).

Gifts on occasion.

And when Haarlep needs him, he's there. If it is a lap to curl up in or getting rescued from a cult. He's not saying much (occasional grumbling aside), but you know he'll do it.

Gentle touch in calm moments. Caressing their wings when they are half asleep.

On occasion he will take part in very haarlepy activities like Disney movie marathon with donuts. (He'd love the little mermaid).

Not being ashamed of their relationship. I think that at one point modern au Raphlep would actually hold hands in public. It's not unthinkable to me.
