Asking too many questions. (He got kicked out of the good people club.)
I am so grumpy that they teased Raphael!Crowley so hard in s2 and then didn't so much as side eye it in s3. Yeah man whatever
Okay I’m done being upset (biggest lie ever but let’s move on)
My comfort place within Good Omens is a bit of planning I did for a fic I never published, in which the beginning of everything was just God and five archangels, who were siblings.
The oldest was Samael, who was loyal to a fault (in the beginning). Then came Michael, who was a very caring angel when first created. Gabriel was the middle child, and right away was a very stubborn angel—the archetype for the stubbornness yet to come. Raphael (Crowley) was the fourth angel ever made, and he was curious by nature, and in awe of the simple beauty that came with God creating things. The youngest was Uriel, who was naive and looked up to their siblings.
One thing I wrote, that I will always consider canon and nobody can stop me, is that Michael and Raphael watched the first sunset together, and Raphael was so enamored by the color of the sky that Michael turned Raphael’s hair that same color. A fiery red to match the wonders of the celestial bodies.
When Samael became Lucifer and Raphael became Crowley, and the war was won, Michael became colder, less willing to deviate from any set plans, and Uriel became reserved and fastidious, which contrasted the carefree way they behaved before the war.
So Crowley trying to talk Michael down from the rampage in s3 is something that can be so personal. They’re siblings, your honor. And maybe, just for a second, Michael saw Raphael again before throwing the book into the fire.
To "Crowley is Raphael" theorists and people who headcannon it
You always show them like this....
but hear me out......
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk :)
| who was crowley? |
I know the theories that Crowley was Raphael. And I love them, they are AMAZING!
But, you know who fits him better?
Kokabiel, the Angel of Stars.
A FALLEN ANGEL.
Like listen, this fits him surprisingly well.

rolls up with my “what if lucifer was to crowley as crowley is to aziraphale” headcanon
imagine the pain of crowley raphael not being able to save lucifer, falling in the process, and then seeing aziraphale go through the same process and constantly fearing he was going to drag aziraphale down with him the same way lucifer did to him.
The (VERY COMPREHENSIVE) Raphael!Crowley proof document, with help from my beloved Discord compatriots ❤️🎉 Especially Floofy with the OG formatting ( @chrismcleaned )
(Be warned, this is LONG. If you have more ideas for things to add please reply and say!)
