we are starving and might be homeless soon.

hi everyone. we hate to be begging online again but we are out of edible food at the apartment, our SSI hasn't kicked in yet (so we have no income), and if we don't make rent we have nowhere else to go and we will end up on the streets again.

the foodbanks don't open until Thursday and we dont think we can make it that long since there is only condiments in the fridge and nothing in the pantry.

rent is due at midnight on the 4th, so that means we have 11 days until it is due. our portion of rent was bumped up to $250 since two roommates moved out and left us to pay for it.

our goal is $300 ($250 for rent and $50 for food) and we are willing to draw something for each person who donates.

About those super rude anons. There is nothing to be ashamed of by asking for money that you need to survive. Idk why these people are taking it out on you and not the harmful systems in place to keep people down to a point where they have to ask for money. Sending love I hope things get better very soon
