Artemisia Gentileschi is one of the first female painters in history. A strong and intelligent woman, she fought against stereotypes. She was raped but rebelled against her rapist, who was convicted. She was friends with the great scientist Galileo Galilei, with whom she exchanged letters expressing her thoughts. This woman was courage and passion.
