The State of North Virginia (capital Fredericksburg and consisting of land north of the Rappahannock River) was clipped off of the state of Virginia to join West Virginia as the next state named due to its geographic direction relative to Virginia. Only two more to go…

It would seem like the capital of one of the most powerful nations on Earth would be a BAD PLACE to try and pull off the sort of crimes that Shadowrunners are known for. After all, this appears to be the one place on the continent that doesn’t have a megacorporate omnipresence. 

But we’ve also seen how easy it can be to just walk into the Capital building.

There’s as much info here as there is in the Seattle section of the core book, so a mildly inventive native GM should have no trouble translating the game to the city in question.
