It was almost too easy. Dabi slipped vial after vial into Toga’s greedy little clutches, pulling her towards him for a brief moment as he pressed the last one into her palm.
He whispered to her, leaning toward her ear. “Don’t fuck this up.”
It was more than just a warning. It’s the only way he could show his concern, warped as it may be. This plan, if it could even be called that, was impulsive. It seemed crazy. It was something born of an anxious fervor, his impatience, her hyperactivity, their collective need to act and act now and act fast. And, if it worked, Shigaraki would be far too impressed to be mad they did this without him.
Right now, Dabi really needed something to work.
Nodding at her in a brief gesture of goodbye, Dabi returned to his task. All he cared to do right now was to continue to distract Hawks from what was about to happen. The risk involved in all of this... was all Toga’s.
