A hint of sweat seemed to coat her skin, giving the impression that she'd been on the move for quite some time now. It quickly became apparent to the woman that she wasn't supposed to be here, not now anyway, but it wasn't as though she let that idea stop her before. Now, Elizabeth had been to Rapture more times than she'd like to claim, but certainly not after it was too late to salvage herself, or at least some extension of her person. The aftermath was unfamiliar territory, though, not all that much seemed to have changed considering she was still trying to evade the lunatics that crawled the walls of this place. It was a miracle to catch a damn break, but she supposed she hadn't been called the miracle child for kicks.
It was some dark, disgusting room that Elizabeth found herself in--pretty much sealed off from everywhere else, accessible through a vent she'd managed to squeeze into. She figured she could allow herself to unwind a little, confident in her ability to tell if splicers were trying to scratch through the walls or even bring them down. The woman doubted it, but all they ever seemed to do was lash out during ungracious fits of rage. A moment's rest, even if it were only for a minute or two, was just the sort of thing a person had to look forward to down here.
