I don’t know how to put into words that Rapunzel being a giant creepy crawly monster who scuttles around on a bunch of giant hairy legs only to be consumed by a giant frog just hits right for me. She’s a creepy spider like woman and she poked and prodded at what can only be considered her natural predator. And what happened? She got too cocky and was eaten. A spider devoured by a frog.

I was like "omg Mother Goose trying to match Rapunzels energy is so smart this is gonna be good" COMPLETELY forgetting this is Ally Beardsly, its gonna get real weird, real fast. "so we're both kinda just doing this creepy thing, all right..."??? oh so you know its creepy? but also yes why did Rapunzel go "this person is acting really strange, i better do what hes doing"???? arent you supposed to be some social genius??? whats happening???

there has been lots of dumb d20 disk horse over the years (s/o to “saccharina is over powered” and the norman/skip wars of ‘22) but “finding rapunzel creepy is ableist” when she is first talked about in the context of having lied to the baba yaga and we first meet her when she’s cheerfully being like no ignore my omnipresent omnipowerful hair :) we had a difference of opinions with the snow queen :) right next to the display of the snow queen’s severed head
