What are your ideas about Raq’lapuj/Dawn/CL-11 (whether it’s pre-splitting herself, post-splitting herself or both) with moon theming? Other than the whole her going with Xiuhcoatl to try to talk to the Three Moons thing, I do have some personal theories on how she could have moon symbolism but i’m curious about thoughts you have about it (especially if you also see her as having sun imagery because that would be so fascinating)
I think her being the dragon of Dawn and presumably having some powers related to it means she has both moon AND sun imagery imo.
My interpretation of that with her story is that shes the Mirror of the Dawning morn (which symbolises bringing a new day, new life/reincarnation) the half of her that stayed will never actually reach that new day, while the other half (Ineffa) will.
It's interesting because it's almost more like a sunset, Natlantea and Xuihcoatl represent the sun so heavily that her "new day" is actually the moon/nod krai. Also theres the thing of the exiles curse looking alot like the crimson moon #hmmm
So ontop of the sun bringing moon reverse dawn metaphor i think Dawn pre-split is very much the iridescent moon character, while Raq'lapuj is the crimson moon, and then Ineffa is the fourth moon never made by the Dragonlords.
