The women of Amar A Muerte winning everything.
@ Premios TV Y Novelas 2019
TV y Novelas Awards 2019 - Amar a Muerte winners
Amar a Muerte 070
OUR CAPTAIN THE WITCH WON!
Sweet reminder to vote for the cast of Amar a Muerte specially for Bárbara López who has the hardest competition from what I've heard.
Vote specially for our girls Macarena Achaga and Bárbara López.
I’m certainly not passing judgement, but goddamn has Raquel (seated) gotten around!
Here she is, blowing one of our roommates in the common room.
A few days earlier she had a three-way in the bathroom of the university commons with two randos.
I also know for a fact that she’s hooked up with at least one other roommate, including a few threesomes.
Good for her, living her best life!
(Honestly, if there weren’t STDs and a social stigma around it, I’d probably have done the same thing when I was her age.)
what happened to the aam cast? you said something about claudia was taking it like a champ?
Oh, they’ve just had to continue to face scrutiny for the awards.
For example, Raquel Garza, who played Barbara, the #1 Juliantina shipper, had to face this tweet from a radio host (who incidentally interviewed Barb and Maca some weeks back and was nice to them) the very actual night of the awards. She saw it and responded in a super classy way but imagine not even getting a day to enjoy it without people saying you didn’t deserve it.
Like others have, Maxine specifically also brought up Patricio Wills, founder of W Studios (that made AAM) and recently appointed president of Televisa and she essentially claimed that these awards were him rewarding his company. This was a particularly tenacious rumor and Claudia was asked about it personally.
At around 4:40, the interviewer brings up Wills and questions the credibility of the awards now, can it be a coincidence that his company received so many awards, how does Claudia think that’ll affect the popularity of the awards.
Claudia: Look, I think the awards have always been inside the company, and they always award Televisa’s projects, right? That’s what happened in this case. I repeat, I saw Juliantina fans being very active, it’s a phenomenon even now that the telenovela has ended, every day there are so many tweets they send, and I believe…what happened is that they played a major part in us winning so many awards, it was their support.
Interviewer: Don’t you think there was some sort of corruption?
Claudia: I don’t see why. At the end of the day the telenovela did great in Univision, it did great here, and that’s it. If the voting had only been in Mexico maybe we would’t have had the same results, but they opened the voting to all countries, a lot of people from Spain voted, and Angelique, what can I say? She has a lot of fans from 15 years, she has a long career and she always wins her awards. Just saying.
