@maepricot didn’t tag anyone but I’m taking it upon myself to share my plentiful wip’s

and ohhhhh my god, are they plentiful

- several prompts that I’ve picked out of this post on my own, they seemed cute and it’s killing me that I haven’t finished any

- at least two other ‘mirkwood family one-shots’, one is a companion to ‘a good idea’ and the other is a bit more serious

- my first few attempts at reader inserts, I don’t know how well they’ll be but they are a bit harder for me to write for some reason and I’m nearly pulling my hair out over editing the one that’s already done

- more one-shots of peyton (my sole survivor) interacting with her companions, nothing super fancy but I love companion interaction 

now onto the horrible mentions, that have been in the wip stage for way longer than any others

- my attempt at a non-cliche, tenth walker fic that’s been in the works for as long as I’ve had eleanor as an oc (which is a really, really long time). literally this has been dragged through so much and technically I haven’t even started even the first chapter yet. everything that I’ve written so far has been research and character practice

- thranduil/idhrenil first meeting/romance fic, another multi-chapter fic that doesn’t even have a first chapter. though, to be fair, oropher is hard to write and he’s what’s been holding me back. (totally not me and my inability to write and focus on multi-chapter fics)

- and finally, the only multi-chapter fic that actually has two chapters down is another attempt of a non-cliche trope of a modern girl in middle earth. personally I’m very, very into the thought of someone from here trying to make do in middle-earth. I would start to post it as I’m very happy with the first chapter but I don’t want to just throw it out there then have nothing to back it up and be pressured to write faster.

(I have no real idea who to tag, but I’ll tag @hydrospanners, @rarabro, and @reyoflight and anyone else that might want to share a list of their writing/art wip’s and @ me, that be totally cool and hella encouraged. no one has to do this, btw, it’s totally fine.)
