I don't usually make posts but when I do its a mini flurry of posts about random things I'm remembering to post. So I've taken to making felt poppets while I'm at work. Its neat because most people don't bat an eye about it, I mean they already ignore me when I cry at my desk haha, so while I'm taking calls I'm either cutting felt or sewing the poppet together. I have two white ones so far and I plan on making some black ones too just incase I ever need them I have them. Its a good way to keep myself busy or distracted especially when people start getting mean. If I don't have felt I'll ask for printer paper; then receive a stack from one of the managers because I ask for it so often. I'll sit at my desk cutting strips and making paper stars to ease my stress. Work always has me stressed....

First Trip To E3

So, you guys may not have noticed my absence from ShortFormBlog last week, but I was actually out in California for five days to cover the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo for the International Digital Times. Getting to go to the show was pretty amazing, and something I've been hoping to do since I started playing video games as a kid.

I know I don't update this blog often anymore, but figured I'd pop in and leave a few links to some of my coverage for anybody that's still following Manic, Chill and hoping to see an update from time to time.

Also got a chance to meet Curren$y, Evander Holyfield, a few members of the GIant Bomb team, and a couple of other folks that made the trip to Los Angeles really awesome. Basically, what I'm saying is, you should probably try and go to E3 at some point in the future if you have the opportunity. It's pretty fun.
