Pickle Rick is available for adoption! He’s a Thai Ridgeback Dog which is a primitive breed. Rick is 4 years old, Neutered/Microchipped/Vaccinated. He came to us as a cruelty confiscation with two of his sons. He must be the only pet and it’s not recommended that he be around children due to this breeds high prey drive and strength. Primitive breed experience is preferred. He’s an extremely strong dog so he needs a strong and dedicated handler. Must have secure enclosure for a dog like this as he tested our fences by running at them head first then by pulling on the bars. We use 10 gauge 2 in x 4 in welded steel wire horse panels, 12 gauge 2 in x 4 in welded steel wire bail for top and bottom of the enclosures. We use the wire on top and bottom as primitive dogs are escape artists. So we do require that or dig guards and lean ins on a 6ft or taller fence.
