Rick Billuni’s 2-door ‘65 Chevelle Wagon (build gallery 1, 2); a delightful frame-off total restomod with a modest iron-block ZZ502 crate under the hood with smart yet streetable Hilborn 8-stack EFI, hooked through a Tremec five-speed to an unspecified Ford (eww) 9″ rear-end. The car rides on a custom-fabbed chassis on ugly, way-too-tall(18″/20″ Foose)-wheels supported by Detroit Speed and Roadster Shop 4-link underpinnings and systems, arrested by big Wilwood discs all-around. Modern reworked GTO seats, a nifty Pioneer/Kicker stereo setup, power-windows and A/C polish the package.
