Since I found out Berryblue was frieza's nanny, I thought she would be in charge of observing young recruits to find any prodigy children. Vanil was the top of her unit so I imagined she got along with berryblue very well. I also imagined brench orphans were put into these units to be trained for the FF when they were old enough so Vanil grew up impressing Berryblue by her power at a young age and willingness to do anything for the FF.
