Philip, because Violet can’t make a decision on her own

Carves the pumpkin:

Violet, the artsy little weirdo. She’d do some intricate designs, too, and make ones for the Vipers to put in the warehouse

Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house:

V I O L E T, she’ll end up like making him carry her

Matching costume idea:

I can see them doing some nerdy superhero theme, like Batman and Catwoman or Alice and the Mad Hatter (not Tetch and Alice... nope)

Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in:

Steal’s the other’s candy:

They pool it together and eat from it whenever they want some

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze:

It’s a group effort... that ends up leaving them both wandering around in circles for hours

Tells spooky stories to scare the other:

Violet doesn’t do spooky stories

Murphy waited just inside Pepper’s bedroom. It was dark and he was bored but he listened carefully, his patience paying off when he heard her footsteps. He pulled the mask over his head and waited until she walked into the room, until he could the ponytail on the back of her head. He leapt foward with a loud, deep scream, hands reaching for her and grinning inside the mask as he waited for her to freak out.

8. throwing up after ‘last night’

So perhaps breaking into the (fully stocked) liquor cabinet while her stepfather was behind bars wasn’t the best plan, but Violet had been going through her mother’s things, and drinking became the best option. However, she had only planned on one glass, but as her mother’s ghost loomed over every cross-stitch and picture, the drinks became multiple, until she woke up the next morning— suddenly very green around the gills once she sat up from the living room floor.

Pepper had walked in on her expelling what was left of the whiskey, Violet’s hair falling in her face as the contents of her stomach made their violent exit into the wastebasket she had grabbed. She looked up miserably at the younger girl, briefly breaking eye contact to spit into the bucket.

“I’m guessing I should say, 'do as I say, not as I do,’ or 'learn from my mistakes,’ but I’m just gonna ask you to go get me a glass of water and some Tylenol.” She muttered, face flushed as she once again leaned over to retch into the poor trashcan.

((Okay but I am so down for the fifth one and the last one especially because Pepper is an easily scared little shit who loves skittles more than life itself))

[haha omg but now Murphy just really wants to scare Pepper and yeah, he’s going to get punched but it’ll be worth it when he can put his arm around her after and make her not scared....omg that is so fucked up though.]

13. Being hit on by a stranger

Anya had no idea who the new recruit was, but he must have just joined The Cardinals if he hadn't recognized her as already taken. Still, you had to give the poor kid some props, he was very persistent.

She heard Pepper's voice and looked to the girl, pleading for help with her eyes as the boy continued to try to gain her interest.

Jack immediately looked up, as if whoever’d left the note would be hanging around, but of course no one was there.  For a second he just stood there, breathing hard, searching every inch of the front yard and what he could see of Fifth Avenue…but then he burst through the door, deadbolting it behind him and dragging the entryway bench in front of it.  “Violet?” he shouted, already racing up the stairs.  “Violet?!”

@dimenovelhero So Jack might want to hurry that whole Santa Fe trip along, bc now Blade has every intention of him and Switch going after Violet in response to his comments about him, and he has every intention of making Jack see just how dangerous he really is. The psycho has woken up, and this is a code red. As Blade put it so kindly, "she'll wish she were with her stepdaddy when we're done with her."
