In Germany participation counts (depending kn your form and class) 50-75% usually

75% that’s crazy D: I’m pretty sure there’s a law (I’m sure in Pennsylvania at least, according to a friend of mine) they’re legally not supposed to take off for participation?? In one of my brother’s classes, participation is bonus points so nothing is taken away. 

I could be wrong about the legal thing, but that’s what I was told.
