asmo, I cannot express enough how much this piece means to me. I'm so honoured that you took up this commission and immensely thankful of my friends for gifting quite literally my dream korthi nur samsi piece to me. you did an absolutely phenomenal job bringing korthi to life!

the way you incorporated the symbolism of her character really stands out with the composition. in particular, I love how the halo of eyes feels like it's forcing away the butterflies and briars that reflect her sister and relationship with the grove & guin- in place of it, korthi and her hallowed sun in the center. it feels as though korthi's coming down to embrace you in her holy vengeance.

the rendering of the sun and its black ichor aspects are nothing short of eyecatching, and a detail of your artwork I've always loved. the eyes focused on the ends of her wings really bring attention to korthi at the center, where you can see more of those details scattered across her body. you really highlighted her reverence while also bringing attention her imbalance- the bleeding, exposed ribs, the golden scars, etc. the positioning of her arms are both inviting and threatening to embrace the sun's rays.

I keep zooming in to appreciate every single little detail on this piece. one of my favourite things about art is seeing how somebody interprets a character— she truly feels like the eldritch, biblically accurate angelic entity I sought her to become, and that's all thanks to you. I'm so glad you enjoyed working with my character design because she means a lot to me; to have her brought to life by you is an honour. your artwork is a huge inspiration to me as someone still learning the skill.

I wanted to re-introduce myself for all the people coming over to tumblr. I’m a nonbinary sapphic artist who will mainly be focused on posting my art, cosplay, and writing, as well as reblogging art and multi-fandom stuff (mostly d&d)

this account is fairly old (going all the way back to my 2013 cringe days) but I decided to just rebrand here instead of remaking entirely

more importantly, I'm OBSESSED with dungeons & dragons and my oc korrah kasru/korthi nur samsi (it's complicated) so you will probably see me posting her a lot. she's an ara (high-elf) oath of vengeance paladin and also a resurrected dead god. here's a look at her, all designed and drawn by me. do not take/copy/steal!

Coser小梦 portrays the Chinese mermaid called Jiaoren/鲛人. According to “In Search of the Supernatural/搜神记”, a 4th-century compilation of Chinese legends about ghosts and spirits, Jiaoren lived in the South Sea, spent their days weaving cloth, and if they cried, their tears would turn into pearls (x).
