Fort and Manle ✍︎ Easily one of my favorite fragrance houses, @fort_manle_parfum is an Australian house known for their unique and artistic fragrances. @raseifort is the genius perfumer behind their creations. Here's an introduction to the fragrances I own from this house in no particular order of preference. ◎ Fatih Sultan Mehmed (2016) ~ A floral woody marvel with sparkling fruity opening (apple, petitgrain and bergamot), lush florals (damask rose and iris), and finally opulent woods, and resins. Bergamot, apple, petitgrain, rose, tulip, iris, vanilla bean, benzoin, amber, ambergris, cedar, patchouli, oud. ◎ Mr. Bojnokopff's Purple Hat (2015) ~ With an animalic oud accord wrapped in lavender, dark Belgian chocolate, vanilla, and earthy woods, it is opulent and decadent and yet totally unexpected. Lavender, Dark Chocolate and Vanilla, Agarwood (Oud), Vetiver, Cedar and Guaiac Wood. ◎ Forty Thieves (2018) ~ Animalic amber that is deep, dark, smoky and resinous. Incense, pink pepper, petitgrain, bergamot, honey, labdanum, papyrus, rose, orange blossom, resin, amber, agarwood (oud), sandalwood, vanilla. ◎ Charlatan (2016) ~ Floral gourmand with a dark fruity opening (chocolates and pears), floral heart laced with truffles and vanilla. Finally a seductive dry down thanks to amber, creamy sandalwood and osmanthus. Pear, Dark Chocolate, Moroccan Jasmine, Damask Rose, Truffle and Vanilla, Madagascar Vanilla, Amber, Osmanthus and Australian Sandalwood ◎ Meraki (Limited Edition) (2019) ~ A vintage inspired woody floral fragrance focused on the Osmanthus flower.
