My name is Olin Rask and I am a fucking failure in basically every possible way.
End of Series One
I did have a serious girlfriend at one point I thought I might end up with. Be like my parents, find someone to love young and start a family right away, but that just didn’t happen for me.
Still I guess things aren’t the worst. I have good friends, loving parents, and a better paying job than I’ve ever had before. So hopefully things are looking up.
I did take her advice though - in a way. Seemed obvious to me at eighteen that maybe if I could just get some funds put away I could pay for some classes out of pocket or maybe even move out of Evergreen to somewhere with a bigger music scene.
So I got a couple jobs and went to it but before I knew it, eight years had come and gone and I was still living with my fucking mom. Who the fuck knew it’d be so hard to save money working two minimum wage jobs while providing with yourself with the bare minimum entertainment required to stay sane?
Ever since I was little I’ve had… well some issues conforming to expectation.
