I was thinking about a princess and the frog sort of AU with Raskolnikov and Prince Myshkin but Myshkin gets turned into a mouse (complete with dapper little mousey suit) and he’s Prince Mousekin

Raskolnikov carries Myshkin around to try and help him find true love’s kiss but all the princesses they’ve tried didn’t turn Myshkin human. It was only when Raskolnikov gave Myshkin a little goodnight kiss on the forehead did he turn back into his human self

(Because true love’s kiss was someone who loves Myshkin the way he needs to be, without force or expectation of amatonormative love)

This is such a cute concept you’re literally a genius …
