Fanwalker Update: Rasmin and Pinni

Color Identity: RU (Rasmin) GU (Pinni)

Homeplane: Kaladesh

First Planeswalk: Ravnica

While they don't share a spark, Rasmin and Pinni continue to be an inseparable duo, both in and out of the lab. With their identities as planeswalkers no longer an issue, they split their time between studying the latest inventions on Kaladesh, and developing their own creations on Ravnica.

Rasmin remains an explosive force within the Izzet League, their inventions earning them both praise an infamous reputation. Pinni remains Rasmin's closest friend, and still hasn't shared his secret previous life as Rasmin's old Aetherborn benefactor back on Kaladesh.

OG fanwalkers, then and now!

Kinda want to start a trend of finding really old-ass art of fanwalkers and posting them beside their most recent art. Alexandria, Lalia, Kuro and Rasmin are especially fun to do this with because they've been around the longest.

AND NOW SOME FUN FACTS!

-Alexandria used to be an assassin who lived on Innistrad, who made her living killing other assassins and stealing their bounty-tbat is, until she met Liliana Vess and became her multiversal stalker. She also was a self-insert before that, and her name is just my name but fancy, and I never bothered to change it.

-Lalia was never meant to be Alexandria's wife, in fact I aggressively shipped her with Tamiyo when I first made her. Only after I drew a lot of art of Lalia and Alexandria interacting did I decide to pair them up.

-Kuro originally had this overarching plot that her freaky necromancy powers were actually Emrakul's doing, and that Emrakul led her to Zendikar to revive Kozilek and Ulamog, but that's all been dropped and she just has creepy necromancy hands just because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

-There exists much older concepts for Rasmin, who was originally designed to be a pirate, but they had a different name and were originally designed to be a cis woman. Obviously, this artwork is tagged with their OG name, and I make a point not to dig it up. They always had a gremlin companion from the start, tho, but "Pinni" didn't become an actual character until much later on.

Fanwalker Chibi Collection Phase 1

Finally getting this project started: just simply full color pics of all of my fanwalkers in chibi form. Some of them are even finally getting a color scheme for the first time (Rasmin and Pinni in this case). I’m going to be releasing these in phases, which depends on when the characters were made, in case you happen to be wondering why Kuro is here, but not Wren or Megumi. These five are the original squad- the oldest fanwalkers I have made.
