Happy New Year!

With a new year, we’ll have a single rat to commemorate this one. So who was the real hero of the kingdom? Which rat is the most rat rat of the rat ratdom?

It’s been a difficult decision, and a very good game! I’m very proud of all of the candidates, and the effort they put in. But at the end of the day, there’s only one person it really ever could have been.

What kind of rat plays the game by the rules? Frankly, I’m disappointed in every last one of you. You didn’t lie, nor steal, nor cheat. Let me teach you how it’s done.

While I’ve had a lot of fun watching you lab rats run around in my little maze, but it is with a heavy heart that I inform you it meant absolutely nothing. I was going to choose a candidate at the end based on how much of a rat they were. It’s the “rat of the year.” Not the most popular, not the best rat, but the one among us who is the most pestilent, the most RAT rat.

It’s not that you didn’t do well. With a fire lit under your little bellies, you really put on a show! Scurrying to prove you’re the best rat there ever was. But you were blind, you thought too simple. Because the truth is, I’m the motherfucking Rat King. You will never be more of a vermin than I am.
