I seem to be quite far, so ill share whhat ive learned.

I remember learning the rice method for bruises. Rest, obviously, use ice if its available and elevate the bruised area above the heart to avoid blood pooling, if it swell s cover it in a elastic bandggage, dont be too tight though. You can make a splint with newspaper, cardboard, clothing blankets etcc. Try to include the joint above and below the injury. Securer it with a tie, tape, cloting, whatevrr is available.
