Long road ahead for those on social housing waiting list says councillor
Earlier this week, the Environment Minister Alan Kelly announced two social housing projects for Wicklow. Approx €9.7 million worth of public house building will undergo construction in the Wicklow area. The areas of Rathdrum, Dunlavin and Rathvilly will see 60 housing units being built. The new construction units will be in place by 2017.
