Day twelve:

Well, howdy, tumblr, I haven't seen you since last year! And this year we are starting off the rating with number 12. I personally don't see 12 being used a lot in media, a trait common with most numbers with more than one digit. It also doesn't have any nice quirks or usages in math, unlike its friend 11, it doesn't even kinda do good in math. 11 times 2? 22. 11 times 5? 55. 12, though? Terrible. And it doesn't even look that good. 11 looked kinda good, with two number ones, but 12 is so unoriginal and doesn't even look that good. 123 is fine and good, but 12? no, not at all, it thinks it's fine when it isn't, it isn't special in any way. I'm almost tempted to use my tumblr veto to veto any defense for 12, but no. It has another purpose. Overall, 12 is a bad number, despite what it might look like at first. Day eleven:

The last number of 2023, good ol' number 11. It's the absolute unit of 1 except twice. The name? Makes no sense. Math? Semi-stupid. It's your friend that you like, but they're a lil' bit idiotic. And they know it! They turn it into the butt (but? bhutte?) of a joke sometimes and they're kinda if-y sometimes to be around, but they are known for it and god fuckin' damn if they're funny at times. But they're not the type to actually go over the line of dark humour and do criminal activities, that's an up-and-coming one. Overall, 11 is a good number, if a little stupid, but that's the charm! Honourable mention of the day: 9/11

Day ten:

Would you look at that, I committed to something for 10 days straight! So, obviously, we're on to number 10! I think I can confidently say that 10 is the third best two digit number, it is the OG, the anniversary, the perfect number. Wanna multiply? Add a zero. Wanna divide? Take a zero. Wanna add or subtract? Like 1, but up by one. It is simple, lovable, and common as fuck in some areas of math. It's also a number not too uncommon in non-math media, plus, look at it, it's 10, the bud! Overall, 10 is definitely a good number. Honourable mention of the day: *10ˣ

Day nine:

The number 9, the newest addition to our series as well as the last single digit number to be rated. Number 9 isn't itself a prime number, but that is fine, because it's a result of 3 squared, and any number squared is gonna be pretty nice. Now, number 9 isn't too bad in maths, it holds up with squares and square roots, multiplication isn't bad, division could be better. Sometimes you see it in media, sometimes not. Unlike its upside down counter-part 6, this number feels like it is more than just number. It isn't quite the best nor the most common, and it isn't outstandingly different, but it's good at what it does. It gives off the vibe of the guy who you don't mind, don't know that well but favour over other people. Overall, number 9 is a good number, at times ignored, but deserving of love nonetheless. Honourable mention of the day: 12285

Day eight:

Another day, another number. Today we have number 8, a fine addition to our rating series, because already we see that it is a result of 2 to the power of something, and those numbers are always a sort of nice number, so a little bonus for 8. I also think most of the reasons people like 8 is exactly because of that, though maybe not directly. For example, the square of 8 is 64, the normal amount to make a full stack in Minecraft, which also extends to 32 and 16, too. A negative thing about 8, though not a strong one, is that it really only is known and liked for its relation to 2, besides that, it is a sort of plain number. Just a featureless even number, only being carried by 2. Though, still, I think it is a nice number by itself, even without 2 and the perks it brings. Overall, I'd say 8 is a good number, though not by a lot. Honourable mention of the day: Eight of diamonds.

Day four:

Merry Christmas Eve you idiots, it's time for our next number of the series, the number 4. The first number that isn't a prime number (except for 1, that one isn't a prime number either, it's a weird number) so we obviously know you can divide it by 2. I loved 2, so having 4 here feels kinda like 2: electric boogaloo, but also kinda cheap. I think 4 is alright, it's not that special in math or anything and it's not particularly nice nor bad to look at. No difficulties nor advantages, nothing special but also no hitches, it feels like an alright number, one you wouldn't mind but would still want for better things. Overall, 4 is still good, if a little mid. Honourable mention of the day: 1 4th/ a quarter.

Day three:

Alright so for today we've got the number 3. Third time is the charm, so that saying already improves this number, plus, 3 is such a nice number in stories and games and stuff. Math is a little here and there with 3 but it is an overall okay number in that field. First odd number that isn't 1, so it just looks a little strange, a little odd, but it's okay. I feel like 3 is the sort of number that doesn't have as big of a fanbase as something like 1 or 2, and the controversy between 3 enjoyers and haters is furious, but in the end you can't fault the 3 enjoyers. They've got an exotic taste others don't, and they're chill too. Large divide, but such love from the small group. Overall, 3 is still good in my book, great number. Day two

Another day, another number to rate. Here with the number 2, runner up to number 1, if I may be so bold. Quite a simple number, really, addition isn't too bad, the first even number, easy multiplication and stuff, division isn't all too bad either. I feel like 2 has its own merits, its own features and stuff, but it feels a little too close to 1. Of course, these similarities with 1 are purely from birth and not by choice, so I give the slack I can. number 2 seems to be a number 1 for those that got tired of 1. Not as good, but different in some aspects. Overall, number 2 is still very good, a nice streak going here. Honourable mention of the day: 2+2, the genderfluid equation.
