You can very easily bribe Narinder with lobster. He's partial to most seafood in general, but he will bury a Bowie knife in someone's chest in exchange for a well-buttered lobster tail.

He can! Shamura taught him to read/write when he was around the ages of 9-13. He is fluent in both the common tongue and Godspeak/Godspeech, which is what magic users utilize for spells.

His handwriting is neat/easily legible but also very elegant/dramatic. Lots of big loops. Probably allergic to writing in print style.

36. What does Narinder think of Ratoo and Ratau, if they met them?

He's met Ratau and has a begrudging respect/fondness for the rat. Though he would never admit it, some part of him is quietly pleased he chose such a "failure" of a vessel to guide his liberator. Plus he keeps silvervine around in case Narinder visits, so that's a bonus.

Ratoo is more complicated. He feels a bit of guilt for how things shook out with him, and his typical response to guilt is to ignore it as hard as he can. If he's met Ratoo, it's been brief, and not very friendly. The old rat may not be right in the head anymore, but he still doesn't like gods. Or former gods.
