Ratterrock Cast Zodiacs

I (Suzie) am so incredibly sad - the inbox appears to be eating asks again, because I can’t find the one sent about what the characters birthstones would be! I’m glum as all get out, but in the meantime, I hope this suffices!

While Baji and I haven’t figured out/hammered down birthdates of the cast, we can definitely provide some zodiac signs! It ain’t the same as birthstones, but they’re close enough.

Locke is a Gemini and Regal is a Scorpio, which in an ironic twist are the zodiac signs of Baji and I respectively! We didn’t do it purposefully but it can’t be denied that that’s what suits them the best.

Locke is voraciously curious and is always wanting to expand his knowledge on anything and everything. He struggles when he isn’t in the middle of chasing some clue or puzzling out a case, and he has the classic duel nature of Geminis. He’s snarky and sarcastic, and has been accused of inattentiveness that borders of callousness. But when comfortable and confident, he can be playful, expressive and even charming.

Padraic, meanwhile, is pure Scorpio in his intense passions, unwavering determination to his goals, and magnetic charisma. He’s deeply resourceful and when he commits to something, (or someone) his devotion is a force to be reckoned with. However, he doesn’t forget a slight and his jealousy is an ugly, vicious beast. He doesn’t just love, he possesses.

Sorcha is our glamorous icy cool Capricorn Queen with big ambitions and pragmatic ways, while loyal Lorcan is our big hearted, good time having Taurus. Soairse the firecracker is pure Aries, impulsive and passionate and idealistic.

Rilla is actually a cusp between Gemini/Cancer, making her birthday somewhere between June 17 and June 23. They’re known as social butterflies who nonetheless desire deep intimate connections, and are expressive, witty, sensitive - that’s Rilla!

Baji has decreed that Brig and Luella are both Virgos, although in very different ways - while they both value loyalty and hard work, kindness and strength, and struggle with opening up to others and being all work and no play, the fact is they’ve have had very different experiences and lives. Who knows, maybe they could connect over this!

Bogdan is our oh so moody Cancer, his feelings running as deep as the caverns and caves of the Night Court Colony. He’s all about providing safety and stability for his family and people, and is very reserved around strangers. Casimir, meanwhile, is a Sagittarius, all restless, wild energy and charm, with an insatiable desire for freedom and new experiences. Thankfully Jess is uniquely suited for him, being an Aquarius who also needs independence and isn’t afraid to challenge traditions and conventional norms.

We’ll definitely be adding to this in the future as more characters are introduced!
