Firstly, how did the casting call go? Could we see Crystal and Ratty’s shovel talk?
Anonymous: Crystal and Ratty giving a talk to Jim? :)
First, I think it went well! It was just for background stuff, but it was absolutely packed. It was fun though! As for the shovel talk...
*
“I don’t believe in fancy euphemisms,” Crystal said, folding his arms. “So just know that if you dick Freddie around, I’ll happily break you arms.”
“Jesus, Crystal,” Ratty sighed, though he eyed Jim doubtfully and added, “Okay, yeah. Look, you seem nice and all, but if you turn out to be an asshole, you’ll end up with a huge group of people out for your blood.”
“I’ve noticed,” Jim said dryly. Crystal only raised an eyebrow, looking him up and down. It honestly seemed like he was sizing him up for a fight.
Something tells me that Miami, Crystal, and Ratty were the ones keeping the band grounded
Crystal is an enabler to Roger’s chaos 😂 They’re a dangerous duo. Miami and Ratty on the other hand, at least attempt to keep things sane.
Is Ratty an Alpha or Beta?
He’s an Alpha 👍
Ok, we had Freddie and Crystal, so what about Freddie and Ratty friendship? ;)
Ratty had such a crush on Freddie when they first met. He was pretty sure he wasn’t fooling anyone either. He jumped to do Freddie’s bidding, whether he’d been asked to or not, and Roger kept shooting him amused glances. He blushed when Freddie smiled at him, and the first time they met he’d barely managed to stammer his name.
It wore off, given some time. Freddie was his friend, and Ratty was happy with that. He loved listening to Freddie rambling, always with some amusing or interesting story to tell. He was also happy to sit in silence with Freddie when he needed it, or whenever he simply wasn’t in the mood to talk.
And Ratty would gladly defend Freddie, don’t get him wrong...It was just always hilarious to watch Freddie- their sweet, tiny Freddie- kick the arse of someone twice his size for getting too handsy.
He was sweet as sugar, but he could make even Alphas run away with their tails between their legs.
Such as right now. Freddie gave a cat-caller such a bollocking that Ratty was tempted to clap his hands over his ears. As it was, he stood just behind Freddie, laughing until he was short of breath.
“You’re getting creative with the insults,” Ratty wheezed. He lit a cigarette of his own, and handed a second to Freddie.
“Heaven forbid I get predictable, darling,” Freddie said, head held high, imperious, but he was grinning.
